Chapter 2 - Out of Bounds.

2 years after the disappearance of Lucinia Porter and James Sheridan, followed by the Decommission of Masa Shimamoto, a girl has awakened out of a dark room. No other memories of her past life, but flashing bits of something that seemed like an incident. Having got out of the room, she's found herself into a city. It felt new to her, but at the same time, familiar.

Having been cornered by a crowd of people who recognized her as a Meta Runner. She, having no idea of what to do, or what to say, in an attempt to escape, lied about the gaming company she was in be TAS Corp. People have backed away from her in response, but that worked out as a benefit for her to run away.

Getting into the TAS Corp.'s Superstore, asking where she is, have been responded that the girl was in Silica City, the capital of video-games. That name sounded familiar to her. But after seeing a bigger crowd formed in the deeper interior of the building, she's approached there, to see what was that all about. And there, she met Belle.

Alongside Belle, she's met another guy, tall, and wearing green, whom the lady asked what was going on, and he told her the Red Hot was trying to break the world record from Ultra Jump Mania. But it failed. Frustrated, Belle let the joystick free, and as the people walked their way out of the arena, - with the exception of one person - the girl got into the stage to toy with the game.

Although, as she began to play the game, the woman has progressively evolved from a noob to a speedrunner in a matter of seconds, which was an amazing feat, until... she was in the game. Literally.

Now, she was at Ultra Jump Mania, about to be attacked by the game's protagonist, the Coconut Boy.

Meanwhile, in her real body, Lucks and Belle witnessed her phenomenon of the Warp, and the boss called the TAS Corp.'s scientists to present themselves into the speedrunners arena.

What is Lucks up to? And what will happen to this new girl?

From what her memories do tell, the new lady's name is...

Now, at Ultra Jump Mania, the girl, still recovering from the second coconut throw at her face, with her Meta Runner hand touching the side of her forehead, has looked into the green-haired kid, still angry, and seeming feisty against her presence there. When she's looked, and nearly fully recovered, she noticed the Coconut Boy was about to say something:

You're not gonna take my island, evil boss! - He said, mentioning her as the threat, as the child started to run towards the lady, throwing his coconut to the ground, conveniently shielding an innocent crab that could be squished by the kid as the crustaceous was walking, and jumped on top of the coconut to get a height boost against the girl. With the coconut floating back to his hand, thanks to Super Mario Odyssey physics, he was about to lunge at the lady, whilst screaming a war cry: - WRAAAAAHHH!!!

Huh? Wait, wait, no! - She said, and afraid to be attacked by the kid as the lady was seeing him getting closer to her while falling from that early jump, she instinctively put her arms on front of her body to protect herself, as she kept speaking, trying to solve that misunderstanding: - I'm not a boss! I'm not a boss!
