Amber stares at the phone in her living room. The price of paper George gave her is in her hand.

But what if it's too soon? She thinks. What if he thinks I'm weird? Or, maybe, he just gave her the number to be nice, and didn't want her to call him?

The night before had been amazing. That morning Amber had been questioning whether or not it was real. But then she found the phone number in her night stand, George's handwriting scribbled on it.

The sudden trill of the phone breaks her away from her thoughts.

"Hello?" She says, picking it up.

"Amber!" The voice on the other end says. Amber recognizes it immediately, since there's only one person with an American accent who would call her.

"Rebecca?" She says, slight annoyance in her tone.

"Yeah! Hey. I just needed to remind you, I'll be visiting next week. Me and Will were thinking about having our wedding by you." Will was the man Rebecca had gotten engaged to about a month ago. Amber didn't like him one bit.

"Oh, that's great!" She lies.

"I know! I haven't seen you in forever!" There's a long pause.

"Well, bye now." Amber says.

"Okay. Bye!" Rebecca answers, and Amber hangs up.

Her sister is much too perky, and can be really mean sometimes. Amber has never liked Will, and he returns the feeling. She keeps hoping that he'll get in a terrible accident and forget he ever knew Rebecca, or be deported. It sounds mean, but that's just how much of a nice guy he is not.

Amber goes back to staring a the phone. Then she sighs and dials the number. It picks up right on the second ring.

"Umm... Hi?" She says.

"Amber?" A voice answers.

"Yeah. Who's this?"

"Paul." He says. Amber grins. "How are you today?" He asks.

"Amazing, actually."

"Amazing?" He laughs.

"I seem to be using that word a lot lately. Ever since last night."

"George is in quite a great mood, as well." He says. Amber hears another low voice in the background. Paul talks a little louder. "I think he has a bit of a crush on you, actually." Amber can hear someone yelling something at him, and Paul laughs.

"No. George couldn't like me." Amber blushes.

"I wouldn't be so sure." Paul says. Someone else says something to him again. "Aye, Georgie is right here, I'd you'd like to talk to him."

"Of course."

"Hello." A new voice says into the phone, obviously George.

"George!" Amber smiles.

"Yeah. It's good to hear your voice, I thought maybe last night was a dream. It was lovely meeting you and Kimberly."

"It was absolutely spectacular to meet you. You're my guitar idol."

He chuckles. "You told me that. So would you like to play with me sometime? Maybe today?"

"Yes!" Amber yells. "I mean... Yeah. Sure." She says, a bit quieter.

"Great. You could come over to me and the boys' place, or I could come to yours."

"I really want to see yours." Amber says shyly.

"Then we'll bring you here. Just let me tell you the address." Amber here's a little rustling in the background, and someone else talking. Eventually George tells her the address to their house, and it's time to go.

Amber quickly looks for decent clothes to change into. Jeans, a purple top, and a wool coat for the walk. She thinks about inviting Kimberly, but realizes that Kim never gets up this early. Not until noon, most days.

When she finally stops at the right house, she has to double check the address to make sure it's correct. It's huge. It's all white, with a green door. Amber walks up the five steps to the porch and rings the doorbell.

"Hello!" George answers the door almost immediately.

"George!" She smiles. He pulls Amber into a hug, surprising her.

"Amber!" John is at the doorway now.

"John!"

"Amber!" Paul grins.

"Paul!"

"Amber?" Ringo looks up from where he's sitting at a table, eating cereal.

"Ringo?" Amber smiles. Everybody laughs.

"Come in, come in." John ushers her into the house, and Paul and George make way. George takes her coat and hangs it up.

"You didn't have to do that." She smiles.

"I wanted to." George says.

"So, ready to see the house?" Paul asks her.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Amber blushes.

This is really happening.
