Third person's POV:

[15 years later......]

The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over the suburbs, as the JeonCheol House buzzed with excitement and laughter. It was Seungcheol's 54th birthday, and the decorations overwhelmed the senses — fairy lights twinkled from the ceiling, colourful balloons floated around, and a large banner reading "Happy Birthday, Seungcheol!" adorned the wall.

Seungcheol's heart swelled with gratitude as he took in the scene. His husband, Jeonghan, had outdone himself this year. "Happy birthday, Cheol!" Jeonghan called out, wearing a bright smile that could light up the darkest rooms. "Happy Birthday Appa!", the twins hugged him. "Happy birthday to the best Appa in the whole world, I love you so so so much" Minhee jumped on him while planting kisses on his cheeks.

He was surrounded by their three children — the twins Hannah and Haneul, now 23 and navigating their paths in life, and their youngest, Minhee, who was a whirlwind of excitement at just 10 years old.

Jeonghan was busy in the kitchen, checking on the intricately decorated birthday cake that the kids had spent the better part of the week preparing. He peeked at the cake, grinning to himself as he recalled the giggles and flour-covered faces of their youngest, Minhee, who was passionately determined to help.

"Everything smells amazing!" Seungcheol called out, making his way into the kitchen just as Jeonghan was arranging candles.

"Just trying to make it special for you," Jeonghan replied with a warm smile, his eyes sparkling with love.

Minhee, with her big excited eyes, hugged her father tightly from behind. "Daddy, are we doing the surprise soon?" she asked, bouncing on her feet, her enthusiasm contagious.

"Soon, sweetheart. Just a little longer," Jeonghan assured her, ruffling her hair.

"Minhee, slow down! You'll knock something over!" Haneul called out, laughing as Minhee twirled, a burst of energy in her long pink dress.

The doorbell rang, prompting the house to erupt in a chorus of cheers and laughter. Jeonghan, with his hair slightly dishevelled from the whirlwind of kitchen activities, raced to the door with a broad smile, opening it to reveal their close-knit friends and their families, beaming with gifts and warm wishes.

"Happy Birthday, Seungcheol!" Joshua exclaimed as he embraced him tightly, followed by Seokmin and their children, Hope and Hyunjin, who joined the festivities with bright smiles and cheerful greetings.

Jun and Minghao made their way in next, their kids Byeol and Kai in tow. "We brought your favourite dessert," Jun announced, holding up a beautifully crafted box of pastries. Minghao chuckled, adding, "And something special for the toast later."

Woozi and Hoshi were the next to arrive, with Eunha and Seojun eagerly helping to set up their family's gift—a colourful, oversized birthday banner that they had made together. "It's a little crooked, but we thought it was perfect for the party!" Eunha said, grinning widely.

Vernon and Seungkwan followed, herding their twins, Eva and Evan, who were already eyeing the cake with curiosity. "Make sure you save room for birthday cake!" Seungkwan feigned strictness while smirking at the kids, knowing well they would never listen.

Mingyu and Wonwoo were among the last to arrive, their children Heesung and Shinae playfully arguing about whose turn it was to help decorate the place with additional balloons. "Guess who's in charge of the music today?" Heesung teased, eagerly eyeing the speaker, ready to rule the playlist.

Finally, Dino and Yeorin arrived, little Aeri clinging to her mother's hand while her big doe eyes glistened with excitement. "Look, Daddy! It's a party!" she proclaimed, her exuberance radiating throughout the gathering.

As the light dimmed and the fairy lights twinkled vibrantly above them, everyone gathered in the living room, ready to wish Seungcheol a happy birthday. 

"Everyone's here!" Jeonghan announced, glancing lovingly at Seungcheol. "Time for the cake!"

The family gathered around the table, and moments later, a magnificent chocolate cake emerged, with 54 glowing candles perched atop it. Seungcheol's eyes sparkled with emotion as everyone sang a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday." Finally, as the last notes faded, it was his turn to blow out the candles.

"Make a wish!" Minhee cheered, her face shining with excitement.

"Happy Birthday, Appa!" the twins shouted, as Hannah and Haneul blew a confetti cannon, showering Seungcheol in a flurry of colorful paper.

Seungcheol laughed, his heart swelling with gratitude. As everyone sang the birthday song, he looked around at the smiling faces of his loved ones, their voices harmonizing in joy.

After a few hours......

As the party wrapped up, the adults began to wind down and enjoy some quiet time while the kids livened up the backyard with games. Amidst the laughter, Seungcheol and Jun strolled into the backyard for some fresh air and shared a moment reminiscing about their youth.

What he saw made his heart drop.

"Unbelievable!" Seungcheol exclaimed, turning to Jun, his voice a mix of anger and disbelief. Just then, he turned to find Jun, who appeared equally taken aback.

"What do you think you're doing?" Seungcheol shouted as he stepped outside, his voice stern. Jun followed suit, a frown etched on his face.

Hannah and Hyunjin both froze, their faces turning crimson as they realized , "Dad, we—"
