Killua and Y/n had been sitting on the ground talking for the past few hours. At some point the crowd went from 100 to 200, and Y/n was sure it had gone far past that.
Killua, at the moment, was rambling about all of the sweet treats he loved while drinking another can of juice. Y/n was mostly tuning the boy out, not caring for the topic of conversation.
".../n? Y/n?" Killua repeated the puppet's name, drawing their attention to him, "Geez! Were you ignoring me?" He groaned, "I was just asking, do you have any friends?"
Y/n blinked, "...What?" They asked, almost offended by the question itself, "Of course not. I'm a puppet. I don't have a heart and therefore I have no need for friends."
"Oh," Killua nodded, "Yeah, I used to think like that too.. well, not the puppet part but still," He shrugged, "I'm gonna be your friend. Since we both don't have any."
Y/n hummed, looking to the floor, "Yeah. Good luck with that," They scoffed, "Try your best.."
"So.." Killua looked at Y/n like a lost puppy, "Since you're a puppet.. are you not really my age?"
Y/n shook their head, "Your age..? Are you stupid? I'm far older, and wiser than you could dream of being," They said proudly, "I'm around three hundred."
"What?!" Killua shouted, "You're older than everyone else here!" He looked as if he had just been told his father died, "Yuck! You're like a grandparent!"
Y/n's eyes twitched in frustration, "I am nothing like a senile human," They argued, "I'm perfect! I don't deteriorate like a mere human!"
Killua huffed, crossing his arms, "Whatever.. Gramps.." He sighed, "Let's go get some more juice!"
Killua once again dragged Y/n over to Tonpa, "Don't run," Y/n warned, "You're bound to hit someone-" Y/n groaned in annoyance as their shoulder bumped into someone else's.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" The man shouted at Y/n, who merely rolled their eyes.
"Let's go, Killua," Y/n said, ignoring the man as they began pushing past the crowd to get to Tonpa. Killua blew a raspberry at the man as the two began to walk away, "What a nuisan-"
"GAH!" A scream echoed through the cave. Y/n turned around. The man that they had just bumped into was screaming and crying for help as his arms turned to flower petals.
Everyone backed up in fear. Besides one man in the center, Hisoka Morrow. He stood right beside the man as he screamed, "My.. How unusual.." He hummed, "Seems this poor man's arms have turned into flower petals," Y/n grimaced. Hisoka always had to make a show of his crimes, "Now you see them, now you don't..~"
Killua gasped, "Y-Y/n.. What the hell? How did he do that.." Y/n didn't answer, only pushing Killua behind them and away from, the jester.
"You should be more careful.." Hisoka was no longer looking at the man on the floor, but rather, the puppet. His golden eyes tilted upwards as he saw Y/n's angered expression, "And apologize if you bump into someone..~"
"Do you know him?" Killua asked, peeking over Y/n's shoulder to stare at the scene.
Y/n nodded, "Hisoka Morrow," They informed the boy, "Don't get in his way, alright? Stay away from that sick fuck all together.."
"Oh, darling?" Hisoka smiled as he approached the puppet, "Must you always force me to do your dirty work..?" He pouted.
Y/n sighed, "I didn't force you to do anything, Hisoka," They argued.
"Well.. how else was everyone else supposed to learn not to.." He looked to the boy hiding behind Y/n, "Touch you?"
Y/n scoffed, "Who cares, Hisoka? I'll take care of shit if I want to. And if I don't, I don't. It's just that simple."
Hisoka's smile grew. He leaned down so he could look at Y/n straight on, "Boop," He said as he tapped on Y/n's cheek, "You're so cute when you're angry, doll.."
Y/n flicked his hand away, "Go back to terrorizing people or whatever you do for fun.."
"See you, darling~" Hisoka waved as he walked away from the puppet and the teen.
Y/n groaned as soon as Hisoka left, "He always makes a scene," They complained, "What a piece of work."
Killua nodded, "How come he can do all that cool stuff and I can't?" He sighed, "I want to turn people's hands into flowers too.. or choco robots!"
"..." Y/n looked at Killua for a moment, "Let's go get your orange juice?" Y/n walked closer to Tonpa. The man was talking to two others. One was blonde with light gray eyes, and the other two had black hair and brown eyes. Though, one was far shorter than the other.
"...Likes the guy.. But that one, over there," Y/n tilted their head as Tonpa made eye contact with them. The man practically jumped out of his own skin, "Eek! Stay away from them, alright?"
Y/n rolled their eyes, "What a snake," They sighed, shaking their head as they watched the three men's eyes also direct towards them.
Killua watched from behind Y/n as the four men conversed, "Look at that one over there," He said, pointing to the shorter black haired boy, "He looks like our- my age," The boy observed.
Y/n hummed and nodded, "Go and speak to him," Y/n suggested, "After they're done with Tonpa's little treat," The puppet said sarcastically.
Killua and Y/n watched as Tonpa handed out his (spiked) juice to the three boys, "Humans are sick creatures," Y/n told Killua, "Harming each other for fun..."
"Do you think I'm sick?" The while haired boy asked the puppet.
"..." Y/n took a moment to respond, "I'm not sure," They admitted, "But, follow me, and you will never have to worry about that again."
"Follow you?" Killua questioned, "Like some type of cult?"
Y/n didn't respond, only smiling at the young boy.
Gods fed off of their people's worship, Y/n would do the same. This boy- Killua- was their lucky first follower. He would be their cherished worshiper, as well as many more to come.
"Let's go and get your juice, Killua?"
Y/n would become these poor humans' God. They would guide them all to salvation. After all, humans were far too simple minded to be left on their own.
"Yeah! Let's go!"
