Chapter 16 - The Lunch Date

The autumn sun bathed Scranton in a gentle, golden light, casting long shadows across the bustling streets. Inside Dunder Mifflin, the office was alive with the usual chatter and activity. The recent weeks had seen a noticeable shift in the dynamic between Michael Scott and Melissa Tucker. "Hey, Melissa!" Michael's tone was upbeat and enthusiastic. "I was wondering if you're free for lunch today. I know this great little place nearby that serves the best sandwiches in town."

Melissa raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "Lunch? I didn't realize you were planning to go out. What's the occasion?"

"Sounds good," Melissa agreed. "I'll see you then."

Michael nodded approvingly. "Good choice. I'll go with the Reuben then. We'll have to see if it lives up to the hype."

Plus, I thought it would be fun to work in a place where you can really connect with the people around you."
