Due to his... illness, Aizawa allowed him another day off school. Katsuki was almost on his knees for him because he really didn't want to see anyone. He didn't care if there were strange rumours going around, it wouldn't be the first time there was. It was the looks he would get. He imagined there would be pity from a few and no doubt Kirishima's friends probably hated him right now. They all used to be friends yet now he was completely alone in a class of 20.
Katsuki hadn't shown his face for the rest of the evening that day, why would he? From all the excess crying, his eyes were red and swollen. When he went down the next day in the morning they still were and he could tell by the way a few glanced at him that it was totally obvious. He only braved it because he was starving, having not eaten anything since lunch the day before he would be. It wasn't like anyone would go up to him anyway. Anything for food though, right?
He completely bypassed Kirishima when he went back up. It was clear by the way the lounge fell into a quiet mutter and everyone seemed to be on edge that they were probably expecting him to pick yet another fight with him but he didn't. To be perfectly honest, part of the reason he punched him was out of pure embarrassment. He figured out that he was lying so easily that it scared him. Katsuki couldn't even look him in the eye after that. How could he?
What he did, he was slowly starting to regret it. He enjoyed it at the time, most of his worries disappeared but they only came back afterwards, slamming him right in the face. Most people didn't really care about their first kiss, if not that then their first time, being special. Katsuki hadn't been one of those people. But out of mere curiousity and a need for a distraction he ruined it?
He wasn't one to boast about his looks but he'd say both his face and body were pretty attractive. However, right now, he couldn't look at either of them. His eyes were too red for his liking, every time he became too conscious of his mouth he remembered, his body was littered in evidence of what he had done. If he continued to do it it would be out of spite and pettiness even if he knew full well that it would only make him even more miserable.
He was left to live with that for another day yet even when he went back to school he wore his uniform correctly so that no one saw the marks he also hated to see. There was definitely a few weird looks then because Katsuki Bakugou never wears his uniform correctly. But he got on silently with his work and didn't say as much as a peep to the curious eyes.
A few days later and everything was still the same but the way he wore his uniform went back to normal because most had faded. He finally went back up to the roof or perhaps his legs took him there out of habit seeing that the weather was nice. Low and behold Shinsou was up there too. Although they didn't really speak because once again he felt the need for a distraction. It was like Shinsou knew and simply went along with it.
For five minutes they were there entangled in each others breaths, ignoring the vile taste of their vastly different food tastes. Then once again, he asked the question and they found themselves walking through the school halls together on their way to Shinsou's dorm. There weren't many people wandering the halls considering it was lunch though, most were probably in the school cafeteria but it made it it fairly easy to notice when other people were also wandering the school halls.
Since they came down from the roof Katsuki felt as though people were following them, actually no, he could hear them following. He wasn't sure if Shinsou had exactly realised yet or not but there was definitely a certain three, maybe four, idiots not-so-subtly following them. Katsuki found himself blindly following Shinsou and they ended up going a full circle around the building to simply go into the 3-A classroom. "I guess we can do it here. Don't want to miss out on a whole afternoon again do you?"
