7 YEARS LATER
A hot blistering summer was one thing but sharing a bed with another in that heat? Don't even get Katsuki started. He would rather die than lay in his own explosive sweat. One small spark and he wouldn't have a house. But there he was anyway. It wasn't intended to be that way — even if he got into bed with someone the evening before, they would be gone when he woke up. That was the problem.
Luckily for him, he was born with a brain. There was nowhere he needed to be because he only went out the night before his day off. He wasn't doing anything but wishing he wasn't trapped between a wall and a person. He didn't even know who that guy was. They had he audacity to happily snore away in his bed whilst Katsuki's skin melted into the bedsheets was aggravating. Yet he did not have the energy to push him off.
An hour later, that man rose from the bed emitting all sorts of stars and vomit-inducing, shiny bullshit from the shit-eating grin that appeared on his face when he saw THE Katsuki Bakugou next to him. Frankly, he should consider it a blessing that he hadn't been kicked off the bed yet. A divine blessing that Katsuki only glared at him rather than yell.
"Do you like ramen?", he said, sitting up on his elbows without taking his eyes from Katsuki's face.
"What?", Katsuki grumbled, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. He just woke up and he's asking if he liked ramen. He definitely did like ramen though. The thought made him hungry.
"Do you want to get ramen with me?", he laughed, "You like ramen, don't you? ...If it's spicy."
Katsuki stared at him. He continued to do so whilst squinting his eyes, he had every right to be suspicious. "How the fuck do you know that?"
"It's on the internet?", he answered, almost as confused as Katsuki had been. Katsuki had almost forgotten. From his age and height to likes and dislikes; everyone could see it.
"I knew that.", Katsuki cleared his throat and looked away, busying himself with his blank cream wall. He forgot he was a hero now — a pretty well-known one. Well-known for a variety of reasons... the usual: yelling at random civilians (for good reason), yelling at interviewers, cursing (a lot), his rather long hero name (Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight) and, obviously, his amazing talent. All of that he had completely forgotten for a split second. Perhaps it was due to the overwhelming amount of attention he got the day before when he was out on patrol.
The other laughed — loudly. It ignited the anger that he should have had when he woke up. "Quit your laughing! Get out of my bed asshole!"
The guy did as he was told, leaving the bed and proceeding to put on his clothes. "So? Do you?"
"Like hell, I've got shit to do.", he scoffed. There were things he did do that he hadn't done before, drinking and one night stands but, there were things that he still didn't do; dating. He wouldn't so much as go on a date with anyone and he was fully aware simply 'going to get ramen' was a bit more complex than it sounded.
"I knew it was a rumour...", the guy's words slithered from his mouth as he walked to Katsuki's bedroom door. The smile was no longer on his face in fact, when he looked at him, his gaze was laced with venom, "I didn't expect it to be true."
"Hah?", Katsuki was fairly good at reading body language and he'd like to think he knew a two-faced bitch when he saw one.
"That you're a whore.", he spat, slamming the bedroom door and then his front door. Katsuki stared at the door perplexed, he hadn't moved from his bed at all. He was beyond pissed. So much so that his brain stopped working, he just stared as the words echoed in his head.
Katsuki had been called many things in his lifetime; a jerk, an asshole, a waste of talent but, a whore? That was new. Just because he let himself be distracted from work for a few hours, drinking alcohol and sometimes ending up in bed with another man, he was a whore? No, it wasn't that. That guy couldn't take rejection like a real man, he was nothing but a mere boy in a man's body.
