Katsuki had never exited and ran back to the dorms quicker in his life. He had dumped all his belongings into his bag like trying to scoop eraser shavings into your hand as quicky as he could and darted out of the classroom because what the fuck was that. That bastard had a girlfriend! A girlfriend! Katsuki had to give himself a quick reality check over that - he couldn't let himself get more delusional that he already was.
Did he think he could get away with it? No, Kirishima wouldn't dare cheat on anyone like that so what was he thinking? God, Katsuki couldn't even begin to wrap his brain around it. He stopped just outside the dorms, crouching down with his arms covering his head. Katsuki had been so close to just letting him. He was going to. Then he panicked at the thought of being the accomplice to his cheating adventure and he hated it. Naturally he punched him. He deserved it. 100%. Katsuki couldn't imagine what Kirishima's girlfriend would feel if she found out - devastated probably. Her boyfriend cheating on her with another guy.
Breathing in, he stood up before letting out a long and heavy sigh. He hated regretting things. As much as he wanted to at the time, he already knew he would regret it. It was a good thing that he did that. He might feel a little bad for punching him in the same place for a second time but who could blame him? In addition to that it was probably best he avoided so much as being in the same place as Kirishima if he could help it. That way he wouldn't almost die of a heart attack.
He entered the dorms again to find the majority sat in the lounge. Katsuki had planned on make a b-line straight for the kitchen.
"Hey, excuse me...", a random girl with blonde hair waved him over so he just stood in the doorway like an idiot. Who the fuck is that and why is she here? "Have you seen Kirishima?"
Oh. "He was in detention with me."
Katsuki hoped that was the extent of the conversation and began making his way to the kitchen. All the butterflies and swirling in his stomach died down and all he was left with was a gaping hole ready for some food. But she got in his way and stood unbelievably close to him, batting her eyelashes. "You're Bakugou right? Could you maybe- not like... beat up my boyfriend? It makes him look ugly- with all the bruises and swelling."
Who is this bitch?
"Why the fuck is he dating you?", Katsuki's eyebrow twitched as his spoke through his teeth. Something didn't sit right with the sentence that came out of her foul mouth.
"What is that supposed mean?! Am I not allowed to look out for my boyfriend? I'm saying he doesn't look attractive when his face is covered in bruises!", she yelled. A few heads around the room turned and stared.
"So? What the fuck has that got to do with me?", Katsuki grimaced. He didn't want to regret it? Regret being an accomplice to cheating on this bitch? If Kirishima needed help getting rid of this insufferable twerp all he would need to do is tell him. He would have done so in a heartbeat. "It's not like I'm the one dating him, if it bothers you so much then why don't you jump in front him next time? For the sake of love or some shit."
She stared at him with wide eyes, shaking and trembling. "You- you can't just—!"
But he hadn't asked. He had no right to come between them.
"Oh- hey! Kirishima, buddy!", Kaminari called out, leaning over the couch with a strained smile. Kirishima's girlfriend barged past Katsuki, her attempt at trying to shove him out the way but failed miserably as she went straight to Kirishima. The sight of him had Katsuki remembering, faltering and the step he took towards his planned march to punch Kirishima in the face again also failed. Instead, he just turned and silently drifted into the kitchen where no one could see him.
