The spell was abruptly broken as Nadiya tore her hand from his grasp, her eyes flashing with a fiery indignation. "How dare you touch me?!" she exclaimed, her voice a mixture of outrage and disbelief. "Who the hell do you think you are to touch me?!"
Irfan, taken aback by her reaction, stiffened, his own temper rising in response. "Oh, hello, miss," he retorted, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "I just saved you from falling. Instead of thanking me, you're shouting at me?"
Nadiya's chest heaved, her breath coming in angry bursts as she struggled to regain her composure. "I don't need your help, Mr. High and Mighty," she snapped, her words like shards of ice. "I can take care of myself!"

In a flurry of righteous indignation, Nadiya descended the stairs, her feet moving swiftly and purposefully. Without a backwards glance, she stormed out of the house, the door slamming shut behind her with a resounding finality.
Irfan, still standing at the top of the stairs, watched her go, his brow furrowed in a mixture of surprise and confusion. As he contemplated the scene that had just unfolded, he couldn't help but ponder the enigma that was Nadiya.

How could a woman be so brazenly arrogant?, he wondered, his thoughts a tangled web of perplexity and grudging respect.

Irfan shook his head in disbelief, his thoughts still swirling with the remnants of their fiery exchange. As he made his way downstairs, the echoes of Nadiya's unyielding spirit still reverberating in his mind, he reached for his headphones, seeking a momentary reprieve from the tension of the day.
With a few deft movements, he activated the headphones, pressing a button to connect to his phone. As he settled into the quiet rhythm of his call, he found solace in the routine of work.

Meanwhile, Nadiya found herself immersed in a whirlwind of emotion as she stormed away from Irfan's house, her mind racing with the events that had just transpired. Lost in her thoughts, she barely registered the bustling world around her, her feet moving instinctively as she searched for a rickshaw to take her away from the scene of their confrontation.
Just as her gaze fell upon a rickshaw making its way towards her, a car pulled up unexpectedly, its arrival catching her off guard. Confused and slightly disoriented, she watched as the driver's side window rolled down, revealing a familiar face.
"Safwan!" Nadiya exclaimed, the shock and relief evident in her voice as she recognized her old college friend. "What are you doing here?"
Safwan smiled warmly, his eyes filled with concern as he took in Nadiya's flustered appearance. "I was just passing by and saw you," he explained, his tone gentle and reassuring. "Is everything alright? You look a bit upset."
Nadiya sighed heavily, her shoulders sagging as the weight of the day's events settled upon her.

Although initially hesitant to share the details of her day, Nadiya found herself confiding in Safwan as he listened attentively, his empathy a soothing presence in the midst of her stormy thoughts.
"It's my new boss," she began, her tone reflective. "He's so demanding and arrogant. He's making my work life a nightmare."
Safwan's brow furrowed in concern, his expression attentive as he listened to Nadiya's account of the day's events. "That must be tough," he said, his voice laden with understanding. "Have you tried talking to him about how his behavior makes you feel?"

Safwan chuckling, "You know, for someone who's all grown up now, you're still acting like a child."

Nadiya playfully pouting,  "Hey, I can be mature when I want to be."

"Oh, I remember how you used to bicker and fight with the boys in our class. You were a little firecracker back then." Safwan said his voice barely whispered.

Nadiya rolling her eyes, "Those guys just didn't know when to quit. I had to put them in their place."

Safwan smirking, "Well, some things never change, it seems. Come on, jump in the car with me. I'll give you a ride home."
