"By the way, I wanted to ask you something," Irfan said, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"Okay, go on. I'm listening," Nadiya replied.
"I saw your last call was with Amrah. What's going on between you two?" Irfan asked.
Nadiya's expression softened.
"Let's just let go of it, Irfan."
But Irfan insisted.
"No, tell me. What's happening?"
Nadiya sighed.
"Amrah's been lying to you, Irfan. She's been manipulating you."
Irfan's eyes widened.
"What do you mean?"
"I found out she's been pretending to be assaulted," Nadiya revealed.
Irfan's face fell.
"How?" he asked.
"I met Marwan yesterday at the market," Nadiya began. "I tried to catch him, but he fled. So, I decided to follow him."
Irfan's grip on Nadiya's hand tightened.
"Go on."
"I overheard Marwan talking to someone on the phone," Nadiya continued. "He said I was getting suspicious of their plan to pretend he tried to assault amrah. Amrah's voice was on the other end, saying she's in the hospital and can't talk."
Irfan's eyes flashed with anger.
"What did Marwan say?"
"He confessed," Nadiya said. "Amrah paid him to pretend to assault her, to gain your sympathy and love."
Irfan's face darkened.
"That deceitful...," he muttered.
Nadiya's hand caressed his cheek.
"I'm sorry, Irfan. I know this hurts."
Irfan's gaze locked onto Nadiya's.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" he asked.
"I wanted to protect you," Nadiya replied. "But I realized you needed to know the truth."
Irfan's expression softened.
"I called Amrah and told her that her game is over," Nadiya said, her voice firm. "I warned her that I would tell you all about her deceitful plans."
Irfan's eyes narrowed.
"What happened next?"
Nadiya's brow furrowed.
"Later that day, I was at home when suddenly...I got kidnapped."
Irfan's grip on her hand tightened.
"That's all I can remember. Everything went black."
Irfan's face darkened.
"We need to report this to the police."
Nadiya's eyes widened.
"But what if Amrah's involved?"
Irfan's jaw clenched.
"We'll protect you, Nadiya. Don't worry."
Safwan, who had been quietly observing, spoke up.
"We should investigate Amrah's connections. See if she has any allies."
Irfan nodded.
"Agreed. Let's get to the bottom of this."
