As Amrah entered the dining room dressed in her pristine office attire, she greeted her family warmly before joining them at the table. However, her cheerful demeanor evaporated as she realized Irfan was missing.
"Where's Irfan?" she asked Noor, her concern evident in her voice.
"He left for the office early this morning," Noor replied casually.
Amrah's eyes widened in shock as the gravity of Noor's words hit her. "Oh no," she gasped, jumping up from her seat, her spoon clattering to the floor. "I'm doomed!"
The dining room fell silent as everyone turned to stare at her, their confusion palpable. Irfan's mother was the first to break the silence. "What's wrong, Amrah?" she inquired.
Amrah's voice trembled as she confessed, "We had a crucial meeting this morning, and I completely forgot about it."
Irfan's mother shook her head sympathetically. "You're in a tough spot, Amrah. You should get to the office right away."
Nodding frantically, Amrah grabbed her bag and rushed out of the room, her security detail close behind. As they made their way to the car, she heard the soft murmurs of her family as they discussed the situation.
As one of the security guards opened the car door for her, she slipped into the backseat, her mind racing with the potential consequences of her lapse in memory. The driver sped off toward the office, leaving the concerned voices of her family behind.
"I can't believe I forgot about the meeting," Amrah muttered to herself, her anxiety mounting.
"Everything will be alright, Miss," her security escort reassured her from the front seat, attempting to calm her frayed nerves.
"I hope so," she replied, her voice tinged with worry. "Irfan's going to be furious."
The remainder of the drive was filled with Amrah's panicked whispers and the occasional reassuring comment from her security escort. As they neared the office, Amrah took a deep breath, preparing herself for the inevitable confrontation with Irfan.
As the car pulled up to the office building, Amrah's heart raced. She quickly thanked her driver and security escort before hurrying into the building, her heels clicking anxiously on the polished floor.
Amrah made her way to Irfan's office, pausing outside his door to gather her courage. Taking a deep breath, she knocked softly.

"Come in," Irfan called, his voice muffled by the door.
Amrah entered, her eyes downcast as she approached his desk. As Amrah stood before Irfan, her heart pounding in her chest, she braced herself for his response. To her dismay, Irfan's face contorted with anger, his voice rising as he expressed his disappointment.
"Amrah, this is unacceptable! How could you forget about such an important meeting?" he demanded, his voice shaking the room.
Tears welled up in Amrah's eyes as she struggled to maintain her composure. "I'm so sorry, Irfan. I didn't mean to let you down."
Irfan's anger only seemed to intensify as he continued to berate her, his words cutting deep. "This isn't just about me, Amrah! Our clients depend on us, and you've let them down as well."
Unable to hold back her emotions any longer, Amrah felt hot tears streaming down her face. Her shoulders trembled as she fought to regain control.
Seeing her distress, Irfan let out a heavy sigh, his tone softening slightly. "I think it's best if you take the rest of the day off. Go home, and we'll discuss this further when I get back home.
Feeling defeated, Amrah nodded numbly. "Alright, Irfan.she whispered, turning to leave the office.
As she made her way out of the building, she couldn't help but feel guilty of her actions.

As Amrah's family witnessed her distress, they exchanged concerned glances, their worry mounting as they wondered what could have caused her turmoil.
"What's wrong with Amrah?" her cousin Noor asked, her brow furrowed with concern.
Her mother sighed, her eyes fixed on Amrah's closed door. "I'm not sure, but it seems serious. We should give her some space and let her come to us when she's ready."
Amrah's father nodded in agreement, his face etched with worry. "She's strong, and she'll talk to us when she feels she can."
Meanwhile, in her room, Amrah was immersed in her own tumultuous thoughts. She grabbed a picture of Irfan from her bedside table, holding it tightly as she poured her heart out.
"I can't believe how much I love you," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "How could you ignore me when I needed you most?"
She closed her eyes, tears escaping from the corners as she struggled to make sense of the day's events. "I just wanted to be there for you, to be a part of your life and share in your successes. But now..."
Her words trailed off as she grappled with the fear of losing the connection she had cherished. As the day's emotions caught up with her, Amrah laid down, clutching the photograph to her chest, her mind and heart longing for the comfort and reassurance she desperately needed.
