ANO BA TALAGA ? | A MIKHAIAH AU

I can't figure out what accessory I should wear , there's too many to choose from. As I was scanning, I saw the necklace given to me by someone yesterday.

I opened the box and checked the necklace, I found myself smiling while holding it. I guess the someone who gave me this is special.

I wore the necklace and it suits my outfit pretty well , I went downstairs and saw kuya Gelo waiting for me in the living room.

"Let's go" he grabbed his bag and went to the garage to get his car.

We arrived at school and all eyes were on me and my kuya. Kuya though of bringing me to class before he goes to his school after the necklace thing yesterday.

"Thank you kuya , you can go ahead na" he patted my head and left.

"Ms. Pres sino Yun?" My classmates approached me while looking at the guy who brought me here , "Shett and pogi , akin nalang" .

I laughed at their reaction and face palmed " kuya ko Yun".

"Omg!!! Ang Ganda ng lahi nyo , pwede pa lahi?" They joked "Haynako , pumasok na kayo".

"Luh ang daya , San ka pupunta pres?" They asked while frowning "Sa office may aasikasuhin lang".

I bid my goodbye and left , when I arrived at the office I saw Mikha Lim , not again. I was expecting her to annoy me or greet me good morning but she didn't, she was doing some paper works and completely ignored me.

I rolled eyes on her and sat at the chair infornt , while making our project proposal, I couldn't help but look at Mikha. Is there something wrong? She don't look ok.

My eyes were pinned on the necklace she was wearing, it was the same as mine. What a coincidence hmm...

I continued what I was doing, she stood up and placed the papers next to me "I've done my part , here" she then turned around and left the room.

I wasn't able to thank her because of that.

After finishing the papers , I submitted it to the principals office to get it's approval.

"Finally!!!" I cheered , I went back to the office and placed it on a private drawer to keep it safe. I left the office and went back to our classroom , we didn't have classes nadin because of a sudden meeting the teachers had.

"You look bothered , is everything ok?" Stacey asked "yeah , I'm just tired" She nodded.

"Where's maloi?"

Maloi wasn't here when I arrived which was weird , she'd always be here inside the classroom to take care of it when I'm gone.

"She had a walk with colet"

"Mukhang tumatapang manok ko ahh" I chuckled.

"Ah btw ate Aiah , somebody gave me this and told me to give it to you daw" she gave me an paper envelope containing a letter inside which wrote.

" Hey , it's me! The person who gave you the necklace. I hope you like it , I got that just for you btw.

I hope we get along with each other . Also , that necklace fits you with whatever you wear.

Please wear it until you find out who I am , please? Pretty please??

Gosh I feel lucky."

I smiled while reading the cute letter they gave me, I still haven't figured out who they are but I will , soon.

"Ate aiah , ngiti ngiti ohh" Stacey hit me playfully while smiling. "Sino nag Bigay?".

I thought of asking, maybe the person who delivered me this letter is connected to whoever gave me the necklace.

"Si Colet"

I just nodded and placed the paper inside my bag.

"Tara cafeteria"

When we arrived at the cafeteria, I caught myself looking at Mikha who still looked upset.

"Huyy! Kanina kapa tulala dyan , ok kalang ate aiah?"

"Yes shee"

"Alam mo kanina pa ganyan si ate aiah"

I didn't bother them and continued to loot at Mikha.

I saw Mikha stand up and I did the same "Girls I have to go , I forgot something sa office" I followed mikha.

MIKHA'S POV

I got the worst news today , my cat had died due to her disease which made me devistated.

My friends also noticed that but I didn't tell them anything, I don't want them to joke around telling me I am a softie after finding out the reason why I have been acting like this lately.

What's even worse is the fact that my parents didn't do anything to treat her disease , if only I could go to the US I would.

"Mikha?" I heard someone from behind  "Are you ok?" She sat next to me.

I wiped my tears and avoided eye contacts "Yeah i- it's nothing"

"You know it's better to tell me rather that keeping it to yourself, mahirap Yan"

"Deej , ok lang Ako just... Ju- please give me some space"

"Come on mikha , please lang , give me a chance" she begged.

"Tigilan Mo'ko Deej , I don't have time for this bullshit of yours ok!?"

"Mikh-"

"NO- NO , NO AND NO! PLEASE LANG , LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"

I then left , tears we're falling down my eyes as I ran quickly to the parking lot. I got in my car and burst out into tears.

I cried my eyes out , hoping that it would help relieve my pain with all that has been happening to me.

"Damnit! Why is it always me. Ba't ba Ako nalang Palagi ang nahihirapan" I screamed.

AIAH'S POV

I followed mikha and saw her crying on the side of the bathroom , I also saw Denise enter the bathroom asking if she's ok. I got closer to the door and heard everything.

"Tigilan Mo'ko Deej , I don't have time for this bullshit of yours ok!?"

"Mikh-"

"NO- NO , NO AND NO! PLEASE LANG , LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"

I heard mikha shout at her , she then stood up and I heard footsteps getting closer to the door and I hid , mikha got out of the bathroom and ran quickly to the parking lot.

Her tears we're falling and I can see that she's been through a lot.

I followed her to the parking lot and saw her enter her car , I can still hear a bit of her crying and I felt bad.

"I'm sorry Mikha Lim" I whispered to myself.

I know I was harsh , she did everything to apologize but I made it hard for her and now I feel bad.

"I'll forgive you , Lim"
