AIAH'S POV
The silence is too loud , I wanna say something so bad but it feels like my tongue is tangled.
I want to make peace with her "Mikha Lim?".
She got surprised "Yes Arceta?" She blandly replied.
Should I continue on talking to her , it seems like she's not interested on talking to me and I feel like it's not worth it.
I was hesitant but then she spoke again "Look Arceta, I'm sorry for annoying you... I just wanted peace that's why I acted like that , I hope you understand"
"I should be the one apologizing, I see you try so hard to make peace but I built more walls to keep myself away from you without seeing how bad you wanted us to be ok , I'm sorry Lim"
"Ano kaba Arceta ok lang , besides it was my fault Nung mga time na Yun, I was a bully... I know you had traumas because of it , I just didn't know what I was doing back then"
"I forgive you Lim"
"Thank you Arceta , I forgive you too"
Hearing those words made my heart light up with joy, it feels so good to finally be ok with someone you've had misunderstandings with , it's a really nice feeling that will make your day even better. No more wars , no more hate.
I guess they were right all along , maybe it was true that we have to listen to the other side before judging them , maybe I was the reason why we never got along after all... I never listened to Mikha's side , reasons and her apology , I never got to realize how sincere she was.
I was blinded by what happened in the past thinking it would be the same thing that would happen in the future.
Maybe this is a new beginning for us , the beginning of a friendship, who knows?
"Can we be friends , Mikha Lim?" I said with a smile on my face "It would be an honor , Arceta".
"Aiah , you can call me Aiah"
"Ok ate Aiah" she smiled "can I keep calling you Mikha Lim , I like calling you that eh"
"Sure ate Aiah , if that's what you want"
After some hours of working, we're finally finished.
"Thank you for helping me Mikha Lim"
"No problem ate Aiah, I'll go ahead"
"Bye, see you around"
Mikha proceeded to leave the office , I sat back down at my chair and let out a sight of relief, I opened my phone to check on the time.
"Shux my quiz pala kami later , omg I forgot to review" I grabbed my backpack and left the office, I ran as fast as I could praying to god na sana Hindi pa ako late.
Juice colored , grabe naman tong mga bagsubok mo sakin.
"Uy mq, tapos na kayo ni mikhs sa ano?" Maloi asked , I placed my backpack on the side and sat down.
"Yeah, grabe Dami nating preparations na kaylangang Gawin"
"Sus wag mo na isipin Yan mq , so anyare? Ok na kayo ni mikhs?" Is she serious , Yan pa talaga I tatanong nya!?! Juice ko maloi!
"Anong klaseng tanong Yan, ang straight forward"
"Come on Mq, tell me the chika" I rolled my eyes "No, Dito na si sir tumahimik ka".
"Nubayan, nakaka badtrip ka Naman Mq"
We took the quiz and it really gave me a headache, I don't remember sir teaching us any of this.
