Aniyah sat in my lap crying her eyes out. I rubbed her back slowly.

"Baby, just tell me." I said feeling bad.

"Chris.." She looked in my eyes. Her eyes were red & puffy.

"Yes ?"

"I... I.. "

"You what ?"

"I want to break up." She looking away from me.

I just felt my world shatter to pieces.

"W-what ?"

"Chris, I don't want to be together anymore." She cried and got out of my lap.

"Why ?" I asked. I felt myself start to choke up.

"B-becaus-se." She wiped her tears and fell to the ground.

"What did I do ?" I felt tears burning in the back of my eyes.

"You don't love me like you used to, Chris." She said.

"What do you mean, Aniyah, I'm in fucking love with you."

She shook her head no and started crying even more. Tears began to flow down my cheeks.

"You love me don't you ?" I asked her.

"I'm sorry." She looked at me.

"Baby ?" I couldn't believe this was her. We were just happy earlier.

"Please tell me what's going on !" I exclaimed crying probably harder than she was.

"I'm fucking your life up aren't I ?" She asked.

"No ! Baby. Never."

"I'm so sorry." She started crying.

I got on the ground and made her straddle me.

"Why don't you wanna be with me anymore ?" I asked looking at her.

She shook her head. I pulled her into a deep kiss & then pulled away.

"Please don't go. Just tell me what's going on."

Aniyah just got out of my lap and laid in bed.

"I'm sorry." She mumbled and then covered herself with the covers.

I sat on the floor feeling heartbroken. I was crying. One of those cries when your gasping for air. My feelings were hurt, honestly. I don't know what the fuck I did. I know I'm sitting on the floor crying like a lil bitch, but I don't care. Nothing even matters anymore. Maybe I shouldn't be living.
