Sneaking Out and a Stowaway

_____________________________

I wanted to sleep. I love sleep, and I wanted to sleep. I was mentally exhausted and I wanted rest.

I had the ability to sleep anywhere. The problem was, that I varied from sleeping quickly to taking longer to sleep.

This was one of those days where it was hard to sleep. Course my wandering brain. Insomnia is the worse.

I had successfully drowned out the snores like normal. And I was planning on doing a military exercise to help me go to sleep.

I started off by doing some deep breaths, easy. Then I started thinking, "Don't think, don't think."

Doing my best to keep my head blank. I was able to nod off, but I couldn't get past stage three of sleep.

Why? Because I heard something.

Tap, Tap, Tap.

I ignored it, and repeat my process again.

TAP, TAP, TAP.

My eye started to twitch. I kept my eyes shut and kept trying to not think.

TAP, TAP, TAP.

"Alright, fine!" I whisper shouted.

I unzipped my sleeping bag and angrily sat up. I turned my head and scanned the rest of the cabin.

Looking for what the heck made the stupid noise. Then, I realized it was quiet.

No snores, nothing. I look closer and saw that the campers around me were asleep. I'm talking deep sleep.

As if the whole cabin had pricked by metal bird feathers and fell into a magic coma like sleep.

Tap, Tap, Tap.

Alright. You want my attention? You got it.

I looked again and saw the window. A finger tapped the glass again.

Tap, Tap, Tap.

The window was the closet to me. I slide out of my sleeping bag and tipped tied around the sleeping bodies on the floor.

When I reached the window, I was fretted with a head full of black hair. Huh?

I opened the window and saw who was tapping the window.

"Percy?" I asked surprised. "What are you doing here, Cazón."

"Well, I came to get you." He said with a grin.

"To do what?" I raised a brow. "I already helped the Stolls steal from Tantalus and set up some pranks traps with Emmet.

Me and the other kids already brainstormed other traps for him. We've come up with a lot to get under Hannibal the Cannibal's skin."

I threw Percy a stern look. "Besides, Cazón. You're already in enough trouble with the ex-king, 'Dishwasher boy.'

I do thank you for taking the heat. It really helped getting the attention off us and allowing us to set the traps."
