Yes Doctor (Hyunjin x Reader)

I was bringing my suitcase to my hotel room. We were in the United States, specifically LA. It was around 7 pm and everyone was using the free time to relax for a bit.

We had to get up early tomorrow for rehearsal. Well, they had to get up early tomorrow for rehearsals. I was told I could sleep in a bit. This whole trip was my vacation. I'm only there for emergencies or checkups. Of course, I had to be there for the concerts and some other things but I still had lots of freedom.

I decided to take a bath because I somehow got a suite. The bathroom was beautiful and don't even get me started on the bathtub. I got all my soaps and I even brought a few bath bombs.

I started the water and even got my phone to play some music. I threw in the bath bomb along with some complimentary salts that came with the room. They smelt amazing.

Throwing my hair up, I lowered myself into the bath and sighed in relief as I closed my eyes and listened to the quiet music in the background.

My peace was brought to a disappointing stop when I heard my phone ringing. I sighed before reaching over and seeing that it was an unknown number. I answered it though just in case.

"Hello? Who is this?" I spoke on the phone.

It was silent for a moment until a familiar voice spoke through the phone, "Hey, y/n, it's Hyunjin. Some of the other members and I wanted to go get a bite to eat at this nice steakhouse downtown. Wanna join?"

A smile came to my face at the sound of steak, "Sure! When are y'all leaving?" I questioned as I pulled my phone back to check the time, before connecting it back to my ear.

"About 10 to 15 minutes." Hyunjin calmly said through the phone.

My eyes widened at how short the notice was. I quickly stood up from my warm bath and grabbed my towel. "Oh! Ok, let me get ready. Are we meeting in the lobby?"

Hyunjin seemed to notice the sound of the water in the background, "Uh... yeah. We can wait a little longer if you need the time."

I shook my head as I stepped out of the bath, holding my towel up with one hand, "No. No. No, it's fine. I'll be down in 10." I assured, running to my suitcase. We hung up and I quickly rushed to get ready.

I didn't know what to wear so I threw on a pair of jean shorts since it was hot outside, and a graphic t-shirt. I brushed my hair out and checked my face in the mirror. I didn't have time to do my makeup so I just grabbed my purse and other belongings and slid into my plain air forces, before making my way downstairs.

When I reached the lobby I smiled when I saw most of the other members besides Chan. They waved and I walked up to them, "Is Chan not coming?" I questioned.

Felix smiled and shook his head, "He has to do a live stream soon so he just gave us his order." he said as we all started walking out the door.

We went out to the two cars that were parked outside that we would be taking so we split in half. Felix, Seungmin, I.N, and Han were in one car, and Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, and me in the other.

I was somehow chosen to drive because nobody wanted to drive in LA traffic. So we all got in. LeeKnow and I are in the front while the other two are in the back.

As I started driving, with the other car following behind me, Hyunjin leaned forward in between me and LeeKnow to connect his phone to the car.

Changbin smacked his butt as he leaned forward and I laughed when Hyunjin hardly reacted. Soon, Hyunjin was playing 28 Reasons by SEULGI. I gasped as soon as I recognized the song and turned it up.

We all collectively sang along. My favorite part was coming up which was the high note and I prepared myself. As soon as it came around I belted out like my life depended on it.

I froze mid-high note Hyunjin suddenly paused it. My mouth fell open as they all started laughing.

Scowling at Hyunjin through the rearview mirror, I let out an offended scoff, "You're evil." They all busted out laughing.

The rest of the car ride was filled with a few other fire songs before I finally got to the restaurant and parked. We got out when the others pulled up next to us and walked to the door.

Felix held the door open for everyone so that left me to communicate with the hostess since I was fluent in English. I smiled as she greeted us and asked how many. She soon led us to a large table and handed us our menus and silverware.

Our waiter came and we ordered our drinks. I ordered a strawberry lemonade. Some of the others ordered alcohol.

We all looked over the menus and soon chose what we wanted. Once we ordered we all just sat back and talked while we waited.

I was at the end of the table next to Lee Know and across from I.N.

"So how do you know English so well?" Changbin asked me as he sipped his drink.

I gulp down the mouthful of lemonade in my mouth before responding, "Well, I went to med school in Pennsylvania for 4 years."

Some of their eyes widened slightly and I.N spoke up, "Wait so you started college when you were 15?"

I nodded as I stirred my drink around, "Yes, I graduated early from high school and went straight to university."

They looked at me shocked. Changbin looked like he was trying to do the math in his head. "Wait, wait, wait... you're telling me that you graduated high school at 15, went straight to college, and graduated with your doctorate in 4 years?"

I think over his words before nodding. They all quietly let out gasps of shock.

"Did you ever get a break?" Felix questioned.

I chuckled and held my hands up as I realized that they felt bad for me, "Of course, I got breaks, relax."

They still looked shocked until the food finally came and all of our attention was changed to that.
