As the group dispersed into smaller conversations and activities, Tixo and Wei found themselves naturally gravitating towards each other. Tixo's mischievous Cheshire Cat costume, complete with purple and pink stripes, a wide grin, and a tail, had been a hit. Wei, with his mime costume, had skillfully used his expressive gestures to entertain everyone throughout the night.

Tixo glanced at Wei, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Hey, Wei," he called, "want to sneak outside for a bit? I heard there are some really cool decorations in the yard we haven't seen yet."

Wei nodded eagerly, his mime costume emphasizing his excitement. The two of them slipped out the back door, giggling like school kids as they escaped the noise and chaos of the party inside.

The yard was indeed a Halloween wonderland. String lights hung in the trees, casting an eerie glow over the pumpkins and fake tombstones scattered around. A fog machine added to the spooky atmosphere, and a scarecrow with a jack-o'-lantern head stood watch over the scene.

Tixo and Wei wandered through the decorations, occasionally startling each other with mock screams and playful jumps. Tixo found a spot under a tree and sat down, patting the ground next to him for Wei to join.

As Wei sat down, he used his hands to paint an invisible box around them, signaling that this was their private space. Tixo chuckled at the gesture, feeling a warm fondness for Wei's creativity.

"You know," Tixo began, leaning back against the tree, "this has been a pretty amazing night. I'm glad we decided to do this."

Wei smiled, nodding in agreement. He pointed to his ear, then mimed whispering, indicating he had something to say but in a hushed tone.

Curious, Tixo leaned in closer. Wei leaned in as well, his lips almost brushing Tixo's ear. In a barely audible whisper, he said, "You look incredibly hot in that costume, Tixo."

Tixo's eyes widened, and he felt his face flush. Wei's usually silent presence was suddenly very intimate, and the words sent a shiver down his spine.

Wei continued, his breath warm against Tixo's skin. "I've been wanting to get you alone all night... just to tell you that."

Tixo swallowed hard, his mind racing. "W-Wei," he stammered, "you... you really mean that?"

Wei nodded, his eyes sparkling with mischief and something deeper. He placed a hand on Tixo's chest, tracing slow, deliberate circles with his fingers. "Absolutely," he whispered, his voice low and seductive.

Tixo felt his heart pounding in his chest. He wasn't used to being on the receiving end of such bold advances, especially from Wei, who was usually so quiet and reserved. The combination of Wei's touch and the whispered words left him utterly flustered.

"Y-you're amazing, Wei," Tixo managed to say, his voice barely above a whisper. "You always surprise me."

Wei smirked, clearly enjoying Tixo's reaction. He leaned in even closer, his lips now brushing against Tixo's ear. "Good," he whispered, "because I plan to keep surprising you."

Tixo shivered again, the heat rising in his cheeks. Wei pulled back slightly, just enough to look into Tixo's eyes. The intensity of Wei's gaze was almost too much to bear, and Tixo felt his breath hitch.

"Happy Halloween, Tixo," Wei whispered, a playful glint in his eye.

Tixo could only nod, his thoughts a jumbled mess of excitement and affection. This Halloween had turned out to be far more thrilling than he could have ever imagined.

As they sat in comfortable silence for a moment, Tixo's mind finally registered the shock of hearing Wei speak. He turned to Wei, eyes wide with disbelief. "Wei... you just spoke!"

Wei's eyes widened slightly in realization, then he quickly put a finger to his lips, signaling for Tixo to keep it quiet. Tixo nodded, understanding the importance of keeping this secret. It was their special moment, something that added a new layer to their relationship.

"Your secret is safe with me," Tixo said softly, his voice filled with promise.

Wei smiled, a silent thank you, and leaned his head against Tixo's shoulder. The two sat there, enjoying the quiet night, the bond between them stronger than ever.
