ZÖ'ILEN'S EYES snapped open, her breathing coming in frantic gasps as she scanned her surroundings in a panic.

She was standing up, legs as steady as ever but with no recollection of what had happened after she fell into an uncomfortable sleep.

She found herself standing in the heart of Hometree, the Hometree she never got to be part of. The great tree, normally a symbol of strength and unity, was now suffused with an air of tension and mistrust. The faces of the Na'vi around her were filled with anger and disbelief, their eyes fixed on Jake, who stood at the center of the gathering.

In her dream, Zö'ilen witnessed a moment she had only heard whispers about – the time when her father had betrayed the People. The air was thick with the weight of his deception, and she felt the collective heartbreak of the clan.

Jake's face was etched with guilt, his voice carrying the heavy burden of his actions.

"I was sent here to learn your ways. So, one day I could bring this message and that you would believe it."

"What are you saying, Jake? You knew this would happen." Her mother's voice held a hint of sadness as she asked.

The avatar hesitated before answering. "Yes. Look, first it was just orders – and then everything changed, okay? I fell in love." He let out a dry chuckle. "I fell in love with the forest, with the Omaticaya people, with you."
