Day 2
Sebastian sits at his desk in his room, carefully picks up his quill, and begins writing another heartfelt letter to his beloved, who is far away in a distant kingdom.
My Dearest, Ryan
Tis my second and final day here in Solara, and I must tell you that this kingdom has captured my heart in ways I never imagined. The rolling hills are painted with the brightest greens, and the flowers that bloom in every corner seem to sing with color and life. If we ever marry, I want to bring you here, to this place that feels like a dream come true. I know you might have visited Solara dozens of times before, but I want to experience its magic with you by my side. The kingdom is breathtaking, with its golden fields stretching as far as the eye can see, and the citizens are so warm and welcoming, their smiles as bright as the sun that seems to shine here without end. Even the very air feels different, lighter as if each breath is filled with joy and hope.
I cannot wait to see you again after what feels like an eternity. Every moment apart from you has been a test of my patience, and my heart yearns to hold you close once more. I've imagined the moment when our eyes meet again, and I can finally pull you into my arms and press my lips against yours, feeling the world disappear around us. There is so much I want to share with you about my time here, the adventures I've had and the people I've met, but words on paper can only convey so much. I long to tell you everything in person, to see your face light up as I recount each story.
However, I must cut this letter short, as the castle keeper has just called me down for breakfast. The mornings here are something else, with the scent of fresh bread and the sound of laughter filling the grand hall. I promise to write to you again as soon as I find another moment, though I hope that by then, we will be even closer to reuniting. I sincerely hope you have been receiving the letters I've been sending every day, pouring my heart into each one. Until we meet again, my love, know that you are in my thoughts with every passing second.
Much love, Sebastian
P.S. Prince Kane sends his regards and mentioned that he would love to meet with you someday if the opportunity arises. He speaks highly of you and is eager to make your acquaintance
As Sebastian carefully finishes writing the letter, he reads it over once more, making sure every word is perfect. He then gently folds the paper, making sure the creases are smooth and even, and ties it with a delicate, silk ribbon in a deep shade of red.
Suddenly, Oliver comes rushing into Sebastian's room. The door bangs against the wall as Oliver bursts in. "Sebastian, come on! It's our last day here, and Momma wants to see more of the kingdom!" Oliver's voice is filled with impatience. He barely pauses, his words tumbling out in a hurry as he turns around and dashes back out of the room, leaving the door open behind him.
Sebastian stays motionless for a moment, sitting at his desk with the letter still in his hand. A look of confusion crosses his face, his brow furrowed as he tries to make sense of why his brother had just stormed in and out like a whirlwind.
He shrugs it off, deciding not to dwell on it too much. Carefully, he tucks the letter into his pocket. He stands up from his desk, walks out of his room, and gently closes the door behind him.
When Sebastian steps into the hallway, he sees Oliver already halfway down the long corridor. "Hey, Oliver, why did you—" Sebastian begins to ask but before he can finish his question, Oliver grabs Sebastian by the wrist, his grip firm, and without a word, he pulls him quickly toward the end of the hallway. Sebastian stumbles slightly as he tries to keep up.
