A young nurse and a middle-aged doctor stood in a distressful silence. Unable to answer, they lowered their gaze in shame.

"For the fuck's sake, where is the body?!"

Nobita raised his voice, his eyes showed a mix of sadness and anger.

Concerning the police reports, Ida Matsumoto was shot 3 times in his cabin. Constable Taichi, who was on a round at the said time, rushed to the officer's cabin hearing distant gunshots. According to his recorded statement, Ida was alive at the moment, of course, there was a huge blood loss, but Taichi did manage to call an ambulance on time.

Ida was rushed to the hospital and was immediately taken into the operating theater. Senior Dr. Hashimoto San says she and her team tried their best to save him but unfortunately weren't able to.

With a heavy heart, Chief Inspector Togawa called Nobita, known to himself as Ida's best friend.

However, before Nobita reached the hospital, an interesting incident had taken place. The body of the respected officer vanished under the noses of the hospital's medical staff.

"What?! The body is not there?!" Togawa shouted in disbelief. Just an hour ago, he saw the lifeless body of Ida, his face turned pale as if it was drained of blood. how could it just disappear out of the blue?!

"This is ridiculous" Nobita scorned, his navy blue suit was drenched in rain. He had just left his office for home when he received the ill-fated call.

"How come the body just vanished in thin air?!"

Togawa and the staff continued to argue. The medical staff, to protect their licenses, and the Police to protect their dignity, but in reality, no one bothered about the person himself.

Still in a state of shock, Nobita seated himself. His eyes were moist, and his brain was in turmoil. With what face he would call Akira and Ida's family?

He was someone's son, someone's partner, and his best friend. A dismal loss, they couldn't even mourn for, what a fate to be blessed with.

"...Nobita.." Togawa called out, "I have recruited a special team to place this case on a fast track, but there is something you should know..."

"... go ahead..."

"We still have to publicly declare him dead"

Nobita raised a brow, "What kind of stupidity is this? How do I believe he is dead without seeing his body?"

"Do you doubt me-"

"Yes! I doubt all of you! A police officer was shot inside the police station, see how ironic that sounds?!"

"Calm down Akira... please..." a tired voice of Suniyo could be heard. Gian had already left restlessly, a beautiful night was ruined.

A soft knock was heard at the door,

"Come in" Nobita replied,

A young lady entered the room. The Crimson red maxi dress flowed from her shoulders, its neckline, a delicate scoop that revealed just enough collarbone. It cinched at her waist, then cascaded down in a gentle A-line.

"Nobita~"

Nobita closed his eyes in frustration.

"..Yes.. Shizuka,"

"What would you like to eat?"

"Nothing, really"

Shizuka sighed, "Nobita, I know it has been a long day, but you know, I am starving"

"You can eat if you want to"

Shizuka slid her fingers across Nobita's neck, "How can I eat without my husband?"

"Nobita?" A familiar voice interrupted them,

"Suniyo?"

"Akira finally went to sleep,"

"Did he eat something?"

"He didn't want to and I didn't force him"

"It's alright, thank you so much for coming"

"Have you eaten something ?"

Suniyo left Nobita and Shizuka alone,

"God, this is so frustrating!"

"He doesn't care" Shizuka lit a cigar, "But he did like me first", the air was filled with smoke as she took another puff, "Wonder if Dekisugi turned him into a permanent faggot-"
