Melody

"Who does she think she is?" I screeched loudly, looking behind me in the cart. "She's new." Elio said plainly. "I don't care who she is, she took my man!" I crossed my arms over my chest. How could he pick someone, someone he doesn't even know, over me?

"Just get over it!" Elio grumbled. I glared at him. "Madi," I said without taking my eyes off Elio. "If Elio had hopped off and walked with that witch you'd be angry too?"

"Uhm probably." I heard Madi say. "Exactly."

"Relax Mel, maybe he's just getting to know her. She's alone. Her mother doesn't even know she's here-" My eyes widen deviously. I gasped in delight, arms unclasping so I can clap happily. "Madi, I have the best idea ever! Thank you Elio!"

"What did I do?" Elio asked. Madi and I looked at each other, she smiled nervously. "Don't worry, it's a great plan."

"Well, what is it!" Nick shouted. "We're calling that brats mother over here, telling her where she is. Mummy is coming to Auradon!"

"How are we going to do that?" Madi asked. "We can go into all the details later, but for now, let's just pretend we like her. She can have Matt, cause soon enough she won't even be in Auradon." I smirked and stayed silent for the rest of the ride to the school.

I wondered about what they were talking about behind us. Hopefully Matt wasn't being to nice to her.

Matthew

Is it bad I think she looks pretty? Soleil and I have been walking together for at least five minutes already, both in silence. I couldn't believe her mother treated her like that though. It must have been terrifying to think her  mother left her. I want to know everything about it, but I also want to know of nothing. Her story reminds me too much of my moms. I'd probably cry thinking about her in that position. Even hearing Soleil talk about it makes me so angry.

"What's it like being a prince?" her deep, tired voice, breaking our spout of silence. "It's a little scary."

"Oh why?"

"Well technically, since Nick is the oldest of us, he's supposed to be king right?" I glanced down at her, her head of curls bounce as she nods. "Well we actually have an older brother. His name is Justin." Her eyes widen as she looks over at me. "Wow!" I shrugged. "My mom thought she'd have maybe three kids, but then we came out during her second pregnancy and she didn't need to have anymore after us."

"I can't tell if that's lucky or not."

"Well sure, but imagine only needing to get pregnant twice and you have four kids. But anyway, he was taken to Neverland for a job over there."

"Oh, what does he do for work?"

"He builds underwater structures and houses." her eyes widen. "I've... I didn't even know there was such a job."
