I wake up to the bright sun shining through the window. I carefully slip out of Austin's arms and go out onto the balcony to our hotel room. This island is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. A pair of arms slip around my waist.
"What are you doing?" Austin asks.
"Just taking in the beauty of this island." I say.
"It is beautiful." He says.
"Did you sleep okay?" I ask.
"Yes, you?"
"Yup."
"Good."
I turn around and wrap my arms around his neck.
"So what are we doing today?"
"Everything from here on out is a surprise." He says.
"I hate you." I say.
He kisses me.
"Then why did you kiss me?"
"I didn't, you kissed me."
"But you kissed me back."
"It..was a hate kiss." I state.
"Oh really?"
"Yup."
"So you hate me?" He asks.
"Well not if you tell me what we're doing."
He smirks.
"Nice try, but I'm not telling you anything."
"Then yes, I hate you."
"Mmhmm." He says, then kisses me again.
"Can I ask you something?" Austin says.
"Umm, I don't know why you had to ask but yes."
"If I...asked you to spend the rest of your life with me and you know marry me, not today or anytime soon, but if I asked you would you say yes?" He asks.
"Yes, of course. Without a doubt." I say.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"You would say yes?"
I laugh a little.
"Yes Austin, I would say yes."
He smiles.
"Where would you want the wedding to be?" He asks.
"I've always liked the idea of having a wedding on the beach."
"And the honeymoon?"
"A cruise...why are you asking these questions all of the sudden?" I ask.
"Just wondering, you've never told me anything about you're dream wedding and stuff like that."
"That's because usually guys don't care about that stuff until they're actually getting married." I say.
"Well I care, I like to know what you want your future to look like."
I nod.
"No harm in that." I say.
"So, want to order room service or go out to breakfast."
"Room service sounds good, I'm not really ready to go out and start the day yet." I tell him.
"Okay, I'll order room service then."
"Sounds good." I say.
I remove my arms from around his neck and he goes to the phone to order breakfast. We order eggs, bacon, and fruit. Austin orders then hangs up and we wait for our food. I see something sticking out of Austin's carryon bag and when I realize what it is I pull it out.
"Austin?"
"Sadie?" He says, then turns around to look at me,
"What's this?" I ask, holding up a Toaster Struddle wrapper.
"Umm...I-I don't know how that got there." He says.
"I knew you couldn't do it. I win! Now you have to eat healthy for a whole month." I say.
"Please don't make me." He begs.
"You lost the bet, you have to do it. Don't worry I'll help you." I say.
He sighs.
"Fine."
I put my hands on my hips, proud that I'm getting Austin to eat healthier, even though he doesn't have a choice.
"It's really not that hard." I say.
"But theres so many unhealthy things that I love." He says.
"Well you're going to have to deal with not eating them for a while."
Soon our food gets here and we eat in mostly silence. After we are both finished we get ready for the day.
"Put on your bathing suit." Austin tells me.
"Are we going to the beach?" I ask.
"Im not telling." He says.
"Going to the beach shouldn't be a surprise, we go to the beach all the time in Miami." I say.
"Just because I told you to put your bathing suit on doesn't mean we are going to the beach."
"Okay, whatever you say."
I put on my light turquoise bikini and then I put a coverup over it. Then I put some waterproof make up on and braid my hair. After we are both ready we go downstairs and get in the car then head off to wherever Austin is taking us. Soon we reach the beach, I was right.
"I knew it." I say.
"We're starting with small things and we'll work our way up."
"Okay, nothing too expensive please." I say.
"What did I tell you?" He asks.
"That this is all one big dessert and once it's over you won't spoil me anymore." I state flatly.
"So stop worrying about the money."
"Fine."
"Thank you."
I take my cover up off and Austin takes his shirt off then we go into the ocean.
"You know, it's kind of nice not having the boys around to ruin any of our moments." I admit to Austin.
He takes my hand and pulls me closer to him.
"I agree." He says.
I smile.
"Let's also agree to not tell them we said that."
"Yeah, they were already mad enough that they weren't coming." He says.
"Well we can do a couples vacation with them and they're girlfriends another time but right now it's just you and I." I say.
"Yes." He agrees.
I lean in to kiss him but then right before or lips meet I quickly pull away and splash his face.
"Did you really just do that?!" He says.
I laugh.
"Yup."
"You got salt water up my nose and it burns!"
I just keep laughing.
"Oh you think thats funny?"
I nod, continuing to laugh.
Then he splashes me and salt water gets in my mouth.
"Eww! It got in my mouth!" I say, disgusted.
"Not so funny now is it?!"
"No, it's still pretty funny." I say.
After being in the water for a bit we both get out. We go to get a quick bite to eat then go back to the hotel to change into dryer clothes. After I change I take out my braid and spray my hair with some sea salt spray to make it more wavy. Then Austin and I head back out. Next thing we end up doing is a boat tour. Once we, and a few other families, are on the boat it sets sail. Austin and I sit towards the back of the boat. The tour guide talks about different things as we pass them. Austin puts his arm around me.
"This isn't boring is it?" He asks.
"No! It's cool." I tell him.
"Okay good."
"If you look to the left theres a small pod of dolphins." The guide tells us.
I look to the left and see the dolphins.
"Aww! They're so cute." I say, looking back at Austin.
He just smiles.
"You're cute when you think things are cute."
"Really Austin?" I tease.
"Yes really, Sadie."
"Can you think of anytime at all that I'm not cute to you?"
He thinks for a second.
"Nope."
"You can't think of one time?" I ask, looking into his eyes.
He gets his face closer to mine.
"No, because there's never at time when you're not cute."
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"Positive."
"Excuse me?" I hear someone say.
Austin and I look over to to see a lady and a girl who looks to be about six years old.
"Hi." I say.
"Hi, do you mind if my daughter gets a picture with you two?"
"No! Not at all! Come here sweetie." I say, holding my arms out to the girl.
She comes to me and I sit her on my lap.
"My older daughter is the one who loves you two the most but she refused to come on the boat ride, she's going to wish she came." The lady tells us.
"Well if she sees us any other time tell her to not be afraid to come and say hi." I tell her.
"Okay, thank you. Alright ready? One..two..three." She says, then takes the picture.
"Okay thank you so much." She says.
The girl gets down from my lap.
"No problem!" Austin says, with a smile.
I look at Austin.
"I'm surprised no fans came up to us at the beach earlier." I say.
"I think most of them can tell that we are trying to have some time alone and don't want to bother us."
"I don't mind taking pictures with them." I say.
"Me either."
"But I guess not having tons of fans coming up one after the other to get autographs and pictures isn't horrible." I admit.
"True."
"So you didn't have anything at all this week to do? Like working on the album or something?" I ask.
"Not really, Mike said he would call me if anything came up that I needed to be home for." He says.
I nod.
"And that completes our tour so everyone just sit back and enjoy the ride back to shore." The tour guide announces.
It doesn't take too long to get to shore. When we do, Austin and I are the last to get off because we were in the back. Austin gets off before me then holds his hand out to help me step out of the boat and onto the dock.
"Thank you." I tell him.
"Okay, I'm pretty excited for what we're doing next." He says, as we walk back to the car.
"Oh yeah? You want to tell me what it is?"
"Nope. Do you not understand the term surprise?" He asks.
"I just like knowing things right away, I don't like the suspense or waiting." I say.
"We need to work on you're patience." He says.
I sigh and climb into the car.
The next thing we are doing is something I never thought I would do..swimming with sharks.
"I'm not so sure about this." I tell Austin, as we head into the building we will be swimming with sharks in.
"Oh come on, they're not going to hurt you."
"Tell that to the sixteen people who get attacked by sharks per year!" I say.
"That's out in the wild and they are usually surfers who from deep below who look a lot like a sea turtle or fish to a shark. These sharks are in a facility and are trained. You have nothing to worry about." He reassures me.
"Just because they are trained doesn't mean they can't go to the dark side and decide to eat us at any given moment."
"But once you do it you can cross it off your bucket list." He tells me.
"It was never on my bucket list in the first place!" I say.
He stops and turns to face me.
"Sade, I promise, you will be fine. I'll be next to you the whole time. If a shark does come at you I will throw myself in front of you, I won't let anything happen to you. Okay?"
I nod.
"Okay, lets go." He says.
We get to the shark pool and put our wet suits on. Then we get a helmet and gas tank on.
"Alright, you two are good to go in." They tell us.
Austin goes in first. I stand on the step, debating on backing out.
"Sade I'm right here, don't worry." Austin says, holding out his hand.
"Don't let go of my hand." I tell him, as I take his hand.
"I won't." He says.
I slowly go inside the pool.
"Okay on three we'll go under together. Ready?" Austin says.
I take a deep breath then nod.
"One..two..three."
We both go under. There's sharks all around us.
"I don't like this." I say.
"You're okay." He says, squeezing my hand a little tighter.
After about five minutes I can't do it anymore.
"Austin I want to get out now."
"Okay, let's go." He says.
We both swim to the edge and get out. We take our wet suits and everything off.
"Thank you." Austin tells the people, then we head out.
Austin takes my hand again as we walk back to the car.
"You didn't think any of that was cool for even one second?" He asks.
I shake my head. We get in the car.
"I'm sorry Sade."
"No, don't apologize. I know you were probably really looking forward to that and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm sorry for being a chicken and making you get out earlier than you wanted." I tell him.
"No need for you to apologize either, I don't want to put you in situations you feel are dangerous. I'm proud of you for at least trying it."
I nod.
"Hey," he says, lifting my chin up to look into his eyes. "You okay?" He asks.
I nod again. He leans in and kisses me sweetly.
"I love you." He says.
"I love you too."
"Now, how about we go get some ice cream?" He asks.
"Yess!" I say excitedly.
He smiles.
"I knew you'd like that idea." He says.
He starts the car and we go to the nearest ice cream shop. I get my normal mint chocolate chip in a cake cone. Austin gets cookies and cream in a cup. We sit down at a table and eat our ice cream.
"Mmmmm." I say, closing my eyes and smiling while eating my ice cream.
"Wait! Do not move your face, stay right there." Austin tells me.
I freeze. I hear the click of the phone camera go off.
"Okay." He says.
I lick my ice cream again.
"That was too cute not to get a picture of." He explains.
After a minute I see that Austin tagged me in a picture on Instagram. I open my phone. It's the picture he just took of me and the caption says, "Cutest little thing ever. Having the best time at the Bahamas with her."
"Aww, you're so sweet!" I say.
He chuckles.
After we finish our ice cream it's dark and we head back to the hotel. I get my pjs on and wash my face and brush my teeth. I go back out into the room and see Austin sitting on the bed flipping through channels.
"Find anything good?" I ask, as I go to put my clothes back in my suitcase.
I go over to him and sit down.
"Not yet." He says.
I get my face close to his.
"What are you doing?" He asks, not looking away from the tv.
"What do you mean?" I say softly.
"You know what I mean." He says, now turning his head and looking at me, our faces are only centimeters apart. I back my face away.
"No I don't think I do." I say.
Then I get up.
"Whoa! Hold on." He says, then he grabs my waist and pulls me back to him.
I laugh a bit.
"What?" I ask looking at him.
"You can't just lead me on like that and then not do anything." He says.
"Why not?" I ask.
"Because it drives me crazy."
"Then do something about it." I tell him.
"Okay, I will." He says.
He puts his hand on my cheek then leans in and kisses me passionately.
After a while we pull away.
"Better?" I ask.
"Much."
We get in the bed and watch some tv before falling asleep.

It's been five days since Austin and I got to the Bahamas. We have been having such an amazing time. Right now we are at the docks getting on a boat that's going to take us scuba diving.
We get on the boat and head out to sea. Once we are stopped in a good place. We get all of our gear on.
"Okay, you two are free to go in, let us know if anything happens." The people tell us.
Austin and I get into the the water and start swimming.
"This is gorgeous." I say, looking at all the fish and coral reefs.
"Yeah."
We swim for while, just looking at all the gorgeous sea life. After about an hour of that we get back on the boat. After getting back to shore we decide to walk around. We go to a mall.
"Do you want to get anything?" Austin asks.
"No." I say.
"Are you just saying that because you don't want me to pay for anything you get?"
"Yes."
"Sade!"
"I don't care what you say, you can't make me shop. Beside I don't even need anything." I say.
"Well we can at least go inside the stores."
"If I go in any stores I'm going to end up buying things, it's better if we just stay out here and window shop." I say.
"Fine. Have it you're way."
"I don't mind you paying for food and our little excursions for now but I'm not letting you buy me something that I don't need or isn't a part of the trip." I say.
"Okay, I get it. I won't buy you anything you don't need."
"Thank you. You're not mad at me now, are you?"
"No, of course not." He says, grabbing my hand.
"Good."
After some more little excursions Austin says we have one last one to do today. The sun is really close to setting. Austin leads me to a big field where there is a huge helicopter.
"We're flying in a helicopter?!"
"Yup."
We both climb in and buckle up, then the plain takes off. The ocean and the sunset and the island itself are all breathtaking. It gets dark and we pass by a beach and I see in lights. "A + S". I look at Austin.
"Did you set that up?" I ask.
He nods. I smile then lean in and kiss him.
"Thank you, not just for this but for everything so far. Thank you for going out of your way to plan and have this vacation. It's amazing. You're amazing." I tell him.
"You're welcome. You know I would do anything to make you happy."
