Im waiting outside of the front of the school with Ashton for Austin to come pick me up.
"So everything is healed right?" Ashton asks.
"Yup! Im fully healed!"
He looks at me.
"Don't say it." I say.
"Why not."
"Because you say it all the time, i get it, I'm beautiful." I say.
He smiles.
"Yes you are."
He steps closer and starts to lean in.
"Sade!" I hear Austin say.
I stop right before our lips meet.
"Oh, did i interrupt something?" He asks.
I look at him and see that he is smirking.
"Yes, you did actually. So if you don't mind, we're just going to finish what we about to do." I tell him.
I turn back to Ashton and kiss him. Its not a short kiss, its just long enough to make Austin uncomfortable. Then i pull away.
"Bye. You can come by my house later if you want." I tell Ashton.
"Okay. Bye." He says.
I walk up to Austin.
"Show off." Austin says, once I'm in the car.
"I just wanted to make you uncomfortable." I say.
He looks at me.
"And i can see now, that it worked." I tell him.
"Anyone would be uncomfortable in that situation."
"Well you didn't have to look."
He doesn't say anything, just puts the car in drive and heads off back to my house. We hang out in my room, both on our phones.
"You know what we should do while I'm here?" Austin asks.
"Hmm?" I ask.
"Write another song together."
"Another duet?" I ask.
"Yeah." He says.
I nod.
"Okay, lets get started now."
He smiles. I get my laptop and make a new Word document, then we start.
After a little bit we have half of a song.
"Want to sing through what we have so far?" Austin asks.
"Yeah."
So we sing through the lines that we have. Its a really good song so far. As we finish the last verse i smile.
"I didn't know you could sing." I hear someone say.
I look up to see Ashton.
"Oh hey, i didn't realize you were here." I say.
"And i did realize you could sing." He points out again.
"Yeah, i don't really do it much. Its kind of just a hobby." I say.
"Except that you sang for half of my tour." Austin says.
"Yeah but that wasnt very big, i was a small opening act. I only sang like three songs."
"You still got fans." He says.
"Wait so you're telling me, that Sadie is famous?" Ashton asks.
"Yes."
"How famous?"
"Not as famous as Austin, thats for sure."
"You're famous for being an opening act with three songs on his tour?"
"Well thats not all i got famous for.."
I shouldn't have said that.
"What else?"
"For..uh..for being Austin Mahone's best friend slash girlfriend..." I say.
"Oh. Okay. Well maybe- maybe i should just go. You guys keep doing what you're doing." Ashton says.
"Ashton wait!" I say running after him.
"Whats the big deal?" I ask.
"How come you didn't tell me you were famous?" He asks.
"Because I'm not that famous! Barely anyone knows me."
"How many followers do you have on twitter?"
"Thats doesn't really determine how-"
"Sadie." He says.
"500k."
"Thats half a million Sadie, thats a lot."
"Well I'm still not that famous, if i was really famous you would have already known." I say.
"I thought we were close." He says.
"We are."
"Then how come you're not telling me things?"
"Ashton-"
"No, just stop. Im going to go. I'll see you later." He says.
"Ashton you're making a big deal out of nothing."
"Trust is the most important thing in a relationship Sadie. Why can't you trust me like i trust you?" He says, then he walks past me and leaves.
"Hold on Ashton." Austin says, coming out of my room.
He's mad.
"Don't." I say, stopping him.
"But he-"
"Just leave him alone." I say.
He looks at me.
"You'll only make it worse." I say.
He sighs.
"Okay."
"You two okay up there?" I hear Dad ask.
"We're fine Dad."
"You know where having that barbecue tomorrow with everyone's familys." He tells us.
Everyone includes, Austin's family, Alex's family, Zach's family, Robert's family, and of course my family.
"Yeah Dad, we know."
"Okay, just checking."
Austin and i go back in my room.
"Why does this keep happening to me?" I say.
"Why does what keep happening to you?" Austin asks.
"Ever since you got here Ashton hasn't been then same, and he's always doubting me now and wants to know every single detail of my life." I say.
"Sounds like he's jealous."
"Why would he be jealous?"
"Because you hang out with me more than him, because we're best friends, because you get along better with me than you do him, because-"
"Okay i get it, he's jealous of our relationship. He thinks he's going to lose me, he's the one creating the problems though. Im not breaking up with him so if he breaks up with me then its his fault that he loses me."
"Im sorry." Austin says.
"For what?" I ask.
"Causing all these problems between you two, you said it yourself, ever since i got here he hasn't been the same. So its my fault ya'll are getting into fights."
"No its not Austin. He's the one choosing to be jealous and picking the fights with me, he could just forget about it and move on, but he chooses not to." I say.
"Boys just cant deal with a girl who has a guy as a best friend." He says.
"But you aren't upset that he's my boyfriend, you're perfectly fine with it." I say.
"Yeah..."
"So are we going to finish this song or what?" I ask.
"Yeah, lets finish it." He says.
So we both sit back down to finish the song.
