Soren walked over to the the girls who were still bound and gagged. He knelt down to met their faces. "Are you three okay?", he asked as he removed the girl from the mouth of the girl with the white hair. "Yes. I think we're alright", she answered.
"That's good. I'm glad", Soren said as he reached into his magic bag and pulled out a knife. "Don't move. I'll free you from your bonds".
Soren walked behind the three girls and cut the ropes that were binding their wrists. The beastmen girl and the elf girl removed the gags from their mouths and rubbed their wrists from the ropes. "Thank you, good sir. You saved us from those thugs. You have our thanks", said the elf.
"It was nothing. I'll see to your guards. You three should find new clothing."
The girls looked down at their garments. Only the white haired girl had her cleavage showing, but the rest of her cloths, as well as her friends, were covered in rips and dirt from the bandits being rough with them. "Oh yes. Of course. We'll leave you to it", said the white haired girl.
"Crosell. Fromod", Soren said to his dragon.
Crosell laid down on the ground and began to eat the charred remains of the bandit leader. As the three girls got some clothes from their luggage and went into the carriage to change, Soren walked over to one of the guards lying on the ground. Soren could see the man was still breathing, he just couldn't move. Soren remembered that he had some healing remedies in his magic bag that his mother had packed for him. The first night after he and Crosell left his home, Soren thought it would be a good idea to see everything his mother had packed for him besides his luggage. Soren opened his magic bag and pulled out a vial of green potion. It was a simple potion that cured all status ailments. He rolled the man onto his back. This man was older and more muscular than the other guards and he was wearing much nicer armor. It seemed like the kind of armor that only commander knights would wear. He had blond hair and a scar on his left cheek. "Please don't worry. This is a potion that cures status ailments. It'll help you".
Soren popped the cork from the vial and poured a little into the mans mouth. As soon as the potion went down his throat, the guard sprang up from the ground. "Oh. Oh my. I feel so much better. Thank you so much young man. I am Arbor, leader of this little group".
"My name is Soren. It's nice to meet you".
"Like wise", Arbor smiled at Soren and he looked over to Crosell.
"Am I to assume that you are on your way to the Dragon Rider Academy?"
"I am".
"And that gold dragon is yours?"
"He is. His name is Crosell. My partner and yes, he's a gold dragon".
Arbor couldn't believe his eyes. He had heard legends of gold dragon, but he never thought he would see one. "By that goddess, he's beautiful".
"Thank you, Sir Arbor", responded Soren.
The man tried to stand up, but the feeling in his legs gave out. "Please, be careful sir. It takes a few minutes for the potion to completely work. You just relax for now while I help your comrades", said Soren.
"Yes, of course. I'll leave you to it", said Arbor.
Soren walked to each of the other guards who were paralyzed. There were about 10 of them in total. After a while, all the men were back to their normal selves. Crosell had finished eating the bandits corpse and walked over Soren who was petting him and giving him praise. "Sir Soren?"
Soren and Crosell saw Arbor approach them. "Yes?"
"There are some people who are insisting that they properly meet you. Would you come with me? And bring your dragon, please?"
