After unpacking all of his belongings from the magic bag his mother had given him, Soren plopped himself down on the bed. "Man, today was more exhausting than I thought it would be. Saving three beautiful girls who turn out to be princesses, fighting a group of bandits, meeting Simon and his dragon and meeting that beautiful fox girl. Sheesh, what a day."

Soren looked around his room. All of his clothing was placed in the dresser, all the items he brought from home were placed all over the room, his cloak was folded and placed on top of the dresser with his magic bag on top of it and his elven silver sword was standing right by the door. He looked at the clock on the wall above the doorway to his room. There was still some time until dinner was ready for the students, so he decided to get a head start on reading the school rules. Soren got up from his bed, walked over to his dresser and reached into the bag that had his uniform in it. The bag was sitting beside the dresser on the floor.

He pulled out the small booklet from the bag, walked over to his desk and took a seat. The little book had a black leather cover with the Academy's symbol on the front. Soren opened the book and read the introduction. 'Welcome to the Dragon Rider Academy! Congratulations on being chosen by the most magical creature in the world! You have been chosen to attend the school that trains the most elite warriors and protectors of the world. Before we can explain all the privileges that comes with attending the school, we must explain the rules that all students must follow.

3. Meal times are set at specific times each day. A student may either eat in the common room or in their personal rooms, if they show choose.

4. Students can challenge each other to duels of weapons, magic and dragons riding by throwing down their Academy badges at their feet. The person challenged may accept the challenge by throwing their badge on top of the other. If the person does not accept the challenge, they may simply walk away. Any duel between students must be supervised by a teacher to ensure the students safety. The supervising teacher has the right to stop the duel if they feel a students life is in danger or if one duelist is going to far. A student may forfeit the duel at anytime. When a student forfeits, the duel must cease immediately. If the other student continues the duel after the other student has forfeited, the student will face severe repercussions.

5. All students are to report back to the dorms by curfew every evening. If students are not back at the dorms by the appointed time, the students will be punished. There are exceptions to not being back at the dorms by curfew, however, what those exceptions are are only known by the Academy staff.

10. Students are permitted to start clubs as an after school activity. Clubs must have a minimum of 3 members and an elected president. To start a club, the members must submit a form of the Club Name, how many members there are currently, what the purpose of the club is and is given a seal of approval by a teacher. If at anytime, a student wishes to join an already established club, they must submit a form given by the club they wish to join and approved by a teacher.'

There were a few more rules that the Academy had, but these 10 were the most important. Aria and Luna had given Soren a heads up about some of the rules, but I wanted to make sure he read them himself so that his sisters weren't playing a future joke on him. The clock on the wall rang indicating that it was time for his first supper at the school. "Well, I guess that's enough for now. Time to see if the food here is as good as Aria and Luna said it was."

Soren closed the rule book and went downstairs for his first meal at the Academy.
