Toga's POV
--------------------

The weekend had passed as quickly as it started. Ochako and I were chatting up a storm in art class today. I didn't notice how fast time could go by, but the bell rang and snapped us out of it all.

Ochako rubbed my head, frizzing up my blonde straight hair that I had worn down today.

I smiled with a hint of red heating up my cheeks. She was so good to me. Even after she hurt me at the party. Regardless, I truly believe her every time she speaks highly of me.

I followed her out of the classroom.

Her friends were waiting for her like usual so she waved bye to me and we went our separate ways for the day.

My friends have pretty strict schedules, or so they say, so I don't really have a welcoming committee any time I leave class.

I didn't complain, though. I wasn't jealous or anything.

I went to my next class, psychology. It was one of my favorite classes that I've ever had. It was one of those classes that the answers just come naturally to you, you know?

"Hey Himiko!" The girl beside me waved. She was one of ochako's friends. She had pink hair and a great sense of style.

"Hey Mina!"

"So, how are things between you and Ochako? I heard through the grapevine that you guys are official!" She said, nudging me with her elbow in a teasing manner.

"Things are great! We went on a date this weekend. It was fun, just it being the two of us." I replied with a smile, reminiscing.

She nodded with a hesitant grin.

I picked up on her body language and stopped talking right away. I didn't want to seem any weirder than I already seemed to be.

We didn't talk for the rest of the period. It was really awkward to be completely honest. Did I say something wrong? Is there something I don't know about?

The class was dismissed, and I left swiftly to see Touya outside the door.

"Everyone is weird today. Help me, touya!" I shook him violently.

His face was saddened just looking at me.

"... Who died?" I muttered quietly.

"Toga, we need to talk about that girl you're with." He finally spoke up, sighing at the end once he could tell my heart sank.

"Look, the last thing I need from you is advice on who I date, ok?" I shouted as he dragged me by the wrist away from the crowd of people leaving class.

"It's not about advice. Did you hear the things she's been saying about you, Himiko Toga?"

I paused.

"What do you mean." I replied bluntly, trying to make sense of the situation.

"She just told Mina about how you guys hooked up. Not in detail or anything -" He trailed off, "but she told her friends that you're just so desperate for anyone to love you! I even HEARD HER SAY that she's just experimental. She doesn't even know if she likes you! Now, I ask you this as your friend: Do you really want to be with a girl who's treating you like a toy?"

Before I knew it, my cheeks were wet, and my eyes burned. I couldn't believe it. I just forgave her for humiliating me at that party, now she's doing it again? And people are believing her??

I yanked out of his grasp and ran down the hall, covering my face as I wept all the way put of the doors.

"Toga- Hey!" I heard a voice call out as a shouldered past them.

I felt another hand grab at my bag but I quickly slipped out of it and just kept running.

That's all I knew to do. Run.
