Chapter 8:// Facade.

Ochako's POV

I went to bed late that night. I can't lie, I was feeling things about her that I wanted answers about. When we kissed after that party, I could've swore my heart skipped a beat! If only I could just tell her about it...

I reached for my phone and instinctively texted her,

Hey Toga?

--------------------

As I waited for a reply, I felt my body tense up with anxiety. Every notification I got, I'm checked to see if it was her!

Finally, 5 minutes had gone past desperately waiting and feeling like this anxiety would never end...

She replied,

Himiko🥹
Heya!
I was just thinking
Abt you

--------------------

I called her in that instant.

We talked for a little while, just chit-chatting at first until I finally stepped out of my comfort zone and said what I had been meaning to say.

"Toga, I have feelings for you. I get that you might now feel the same way, but this has just been eating away at me!" I choked out every word spilling out of my mouth, which made me more and more anxious.

I heard a giggle on the other end.

"I have feelings for you too Ochako, can we just get together already?"

My heart began to race, and my palms began to sweat.

Before thinking, I just blurted out, "Just - Can we take things slow? No attachments."

"Of course! Whatever you're comfortable with." She replied sweetly.

I smiled, sinking into my couch as I collapsed with relief.

I had never been with a girl before! This was going to be an experience, whether it be good or bad. Truly, anything could happen.

We decided to meet up that same night, taking some blankets to a place where we could look at the stars. That place is the park outside of campus. We laid our blankets on the grass and sat down near each other.

She was yapping about some of her other friends. I wish I could say I was listening, but I was too busy admiring her features in the moonlight. I snapped out of it when she turned my way with a soft grin.

"...You know what I mean?" Her words slipped into my brain.

The reality set in that I wasn't listening, so I just went along with it, "Yeah! I do."

She giggled, laying her head onto my shoulder.

I wrapped an arm around her and held her close as we just enjoyed eachothers company.

The only thing I could think of in this moment was how lucky I was to have met such a wonderful girl. She just gets me. She gets me a lot more than Izuku did anyway.

God, why am I thinking about him in a moment like this anyway.

Toga lifted her head from my shoulder and took a look into my eyes. I couldn't help but feel drawn in like I was under some kind of spell.

Well, one thing led to another, and our lips locked. She was a good kisser. She climbed on top of my lap, straddling it as she slipped her tongue into my mouth. As it withdrew from our makeout, she nibbled on my bottom lip, causing my whole body to heat up.  As if the tongue-on-tongue action wasn't enough...

We pulled away, and I saw the excitement in her eyes. She looked full of adrenaline, like she was a sort of fiend for it too. Her pupils dilated as I gave her one last peck on the lips for the night.

"Wanna go back to my place and watch a movie?" I offered.

She smiled and nodded swiftly, "I would love to!"
