Ochako's POV
--------------------

I laid in my bed that night, replaying every event that happened earlier that day. It was midnight, but I couldn't shut my brain off.

There were things I was still learning. One of them being why I didn't feel the same things between Deku and Toga. I guess it's difficult to describe, but it was almost like I had something for her.

Something about the way she looks at me and talks to me. It makes me feel validated. It makes me feel seen. That's something I haven't felt like in a long time. I hope she felt the same...

As I rolled onto my side, closing my eyes tightly.

My eyes remained shut as my head replayed the scenes of Toga dragging me by my hand. It was so romantic, I couldn't deny it. Maybe I was just a delusional teenage girl, but... I think I really like Toga.

She's just different from all the other boys I met. I mean, crying out loud, she's a girl! A pretty girl with pretty lips.

I wonder how they taste?

....

What did I just think?

....

Ughhhhh, I'm so weird.

I couldn't sleep for a while, just because of my mind buzzing with busy thoughts. It wasn't uncommon, but it hadn't happened in a while.

Once I fell asleep, it wasn't long before I woke up. I hurried out the door. Just as I ran out, I was hit by a shoulder of someone I hadn't seen before rushing out the front door.

"Ochako?" Denki caught me before I fell, grabbing me by the jacket.

"What're you doing here? Can't a girl get to class on time?" I teased, pulling out of his grip.

Denki and Kirishima looked at each other and then laughed hysterically, "Good point. Sorry for holding you up!" Kirishima gave an awkward smile.

He was wearing his varsity jacket from high school and a pair of gray sweats. Kaminari was wearing an adventure time top with ripped black jeans. He did a fat rip off of his vape in the process of me adjusting my jacket.

"Well, what's up? Why are you guys here this early." I questioned, nudging past them to start my walk.

We decided to walk and talk to ensure none of us were late. "We just wanted to invite you to our fraternity party later this week. It'll be on Friday night after the football game. Trust me, it's gonna be sick!"

Kaminari gave me a thumbs up, approving what Kiri was telling me.

I shrugged, "Sure, im down. Can I bring a guest, or is that not cool?"

"Depends." Denki laughed.

"Yeah, who is it?" Kiri elbowed me jokingly, pressing to find out who the lucky guest was.

"Well, it's this cool girl I met in intro art class! You'll love her." I smiled.

They nodded between each other.

"Hell yeah, we love girls!" Denki grinned.

"Alright, well, catch you guys later!" I waved.

We said our goodbyes, and I hiked up campus to my classes for the day.

I got to class just on time.

--------------------

The day ended as quickly as it started. Toga and I had plans to meet up for some kind of study session in the library. I was excited to see and talk to her since we didn't have art today. I never thought a girl would come into my life and bring me this much joy.

It was so strange the feelings I had about her. If Toga was a boy, she'd be the love of my life.

"Ochako, over here!" Toga's voice echoed in a whispery shout.

I smiled, hurrying over there as she greeted me with a tight hug. I held her close, closing my eyes to enjoy the brief bliss.

"Sorry if I smell bad, I was dropped off by Touya and Shiggy. They tend to smoke in the car, so it's not unusual for me to carry around the scent.." She spoke quietly still, trying not to get in trouble from the librarian.

I shook my head, "You don't smell bad at all! Still your usual cherry scent."

She smiled, looking at me with her golden eyes. "That's good."

We took a seat at the nearest table, sitting right beside one another. She pulled out a mathematics book, and I whipped out my laptop.

"Need any help with your math?" I offered, watching her wince at the sight of her notebook.

She sheepishly smiled, "Yeah. Math isn't my strong subject, I'm actually pretty bad at it. It'd be great to have some help!"

I took the task right on as I leaned in closer to read over her notes and assignment in her book.

She talked me through what she had learned that day in class, which unfortunately wasn't much.

"My mind was just occupied with other things." She giggled.

I grinned. I continued to explain the subject and assignment to her, working out most of the problems by her side. By the end of the study session, she had completed the assignment.

As we packed up out things and she headed towards the door, I'llgrabbed her by the wrist.

"I know this is sudden and unplanned, but..." I began, "My friends are throwing a big house party tonight. I'd love it if you came with me."

Her eyes lit up like a fire, "I'd love to go with you! Send me the address and I'll be there!"

I couldn't help but feel excited. I released her wrist and gave her the address along with a time to be there.

I knew we'd both have to get dressed, so I made sure we'd have enough time. I also planned that we'd get there after everyone had shown up so we could get an idea of who all would be there.

"I'll see ya' there!" She waved, rushing out of the library into a black Honda civic.

I assumed it was her friends car. I knew she was safe with them so I didn't worry. I didn't have time to worry! I had a party to get dressed for, and a date to impress!
