Chapter 11:// The Letter.

Toga's POV

I was alarmed by the sound of a door swinging open down the hall.

"You have a lot of nerve showing up here! Listen, pink cheeks, if you really claimed to like Toga -" Dabi began to scream.

I hurried out of my room and stood in the hallway to see Ochako holding some pieces of paper in the entryway.

"Just shut up! Look, I get it. I've been a real piece of shit. I just needed validation from shitty people. I understand you're upset. You're not the only one here who feels terribly sorry!" Ochako shouted back.

I was taken aback by her courage to act like that . You of Touya.

"Ochako," I muttered sadly.

She tried to push past Touya, but he blocked her entry with his arm.

"What is that you're holding anyway?" I questioned curiously.

She gulped, reaching it out to me.

I took the papers, examining over them swiftly. They were covered in little doodles of me and her...

I looked up from the paper to see tears streaming down her face.

I felt helpless, knowing that if I forgave her. YouI'd be seen as a loser. But if I didn't, I'd regret it for the rest of my life.

Before I even read the papers, nudged Touya aside and wrapped my arms around Ochako's neck. She wrapped her arms around my waist.

She remained quiet besides her sniffling every now and then. Regardless, we both needed that hug.

"Ochako, I forgive you."

"But -" She sputtered, "You haven't even read the letters yet!"

I giggled, "I'll read it. But in this moment right now, I can tell you're being genuine. The pain you're carrying, I want to know about it all. I just want to help you and understand you."

She smiled in return. Although I couldn't let her off the hook without saying, "But please, for the love of God, don't ever do some stupid shit like that again."

She nodded frantically. "Yes ma'am, understood!"

"Ok," I replied skeptically. "I'll read the letter and let you know how I feel. Get some sleep, Ochako."

She smiled and hopped a little, "GOODNI-"

The door slammed.

"Touya, what the shit?" I shouted.

He shrugged and took the letter from my tight grasp.

I practically had to tackle him to get the letter out of his hands, but after all the wrestling, the paper crumbled and ripped through the middle.

I groaned in frustration, elbowing Touya in the gut.

"Oof-" He grunted, staying put on the ground.

"Why would you rip it? You know how much she means to me!" I shouted, rotating away from him.

"She's a piece of shit, I don't feel guilty of anything. In fact, I'm probably just doing you a favor, Himi."

I growled, "Oh shut up, like you haven't said worse things about me."

"The thing is, I haven't." Touya sighed, finally getting back up on his feet to put his arm around me. "I'm not trying to hurt you anymore than you already are Toga. I just hate seeing you upset. So listen, let's just move on from her and terrorize the female population like we used to! Together!"

I shrugged him off, answering with a head shake. "I don't want to play around anymore. I really like Ochako, I don't want to ruin it."

He gave me a pat on the head and began to walk to his respective room, "Alright then, I wish you luck."

I waited for his door to close behind him before skipping all the way into my room like a lovestruck princess in her very own castle!

I taped the paper back together and got to reading the few crumbled pages. My heart was racing the whole time! My stomach was full of butterflies and knots. I was a complete and utter mess. Well, I hadn't realized that until I took a glance in the mirror on my desk and saw my crazed smile. I shook it off quickly and just stuck with a smirk.

I believed Ochako and accepted her confession.

That girl will be mine.
