Chapter 69

After some few hours ya Ammar announced his arrival, sultan quickly jumped on his father
"Woah champ you're heavy what have you been eating in a day" he teases sulty and he made a pout. One thing sultan hates is him being called fatty though he's chubby and big for his age

"Daddy" he whined and I laughed at the duo. Ya Ammar exchanged greetings with baba and Mama Rabi before we all went out . The cars were arranged in a convoy just as before and I could feel my eyes getting moist .

Ya Ammar excused himself as he held me closer to him and consoled me , I told him about the plan I had before I leave this town again, he smiled at me before pecking me on the forehead and he went towards the district head , they've talked for some minutes and both trio left as I was left with Mama Rabi who had sultan in her arms trying to cheer me up

AMMAR POV
When realization dawn upon Amrita she quickly got out of the car and before I could get to say anything to her she ran off
"Where is she heading to" I thought to my self and followed her

There she was crying in the arms of her father, I know I shouldn't disturb their moment but I can't help seeing my Angel crying her heart out

I found myself filled with tears after witnessing the scenario and I thought it's high time to make my presence known.

I smiled at how Amrita was smiling at her father who held sultan in his arms and then we locked eye contact, I could read her all emotions and I'm glad to see she is happy and smiling at last

I wanted to take Amrita with me to the hotel I've booked for us but she insisted on spending the night at her father's house at first I objected but with her constant pleas I couldn't help but to let her stay , why am I selfish? she has been with me for many years and I can't even let her stay a day with her dad , Gosh what's wrong with me?

The very next day I couldn't wait any longer I missed her and sulty as well , I quickly got ready and head towards her place as we were leaving .

Amrita asked me for a favour though I was planning something different but her idea would work out also

I went to the district head and we had some conversations about it and we talked to baba about it and after series of pleas he finally agreed , the district head summoned Mama Rabi's uncle as he was her only relative . Mama Rabi is a widower whose husband died after 2 years of illness , she has no child with him , after his death she lived her life alone without remarrying , she came to YAMALTU village to stay with her uncle that's when she saw Malam Bello and the stories she heard of him , made her to develop some kind of feeling like sympathy towards him that's why she always cooks and look out for him in her own way

After some few minutes it was declared MALAM BELLO WEDS RABIATU ALIYU as I paid the bride price

AMRITA POV
We were talking with Mama Rabi as she was telling me about her life , we heard through the speakers that a wedding has been conducted and a huge smile made its way on my face
"Malam Bello weds Rabiatu Aliyu"
"Alhamdullilah" I muttered loudly as I stared at shocked Mama Rabi

"Mama mama" I called out to her as I saw tears in her eyes my heart started beating fast before I could say anything she hand over sultan hurriedly walked away

I wanted to go after her but a pair of hands restricted me
"Ya Ammar" I looked at him
"She needed some time alone she would be back" he said
"But" before I could finish he opened the car for me and we went away

*FEW DAYS LATER
Flash back
After we went back home I couldn't help myself to be bothered by everything that happened, was she angry for what happened

Ya Ammar consoled me as he told me everything that happened, she wasn't angry about the situation though it took her by surprise by she wasn't angry.

I felt so relieved upon hearing that, finally baba would find happiness in his life after a long time. I smiled to myself. It was days later I found that Ammar has bought a house here in Gombe close to momma's house and he's planning to moved baba and Mama Rabi there

*Back to present
So here we are all me, Sharifa, Didi, momma and farha decorating the house and trying to prepare something before they arrive

Sultan is with the twins in the living room watching COCOMELON as Sharifa and farha were making sure everything is in order . I, Didi and momma were in the kitchen cooking some delicious dinner for the couples

Just then we heard the siren sound
"They are finally here" farha rushed into the kitchen
"Yes we are done, come and help set the tables" momma said and they all began to set the table while I walked towards to door

Just then ya Ammar came in with ya abdulfatah and Fahad trailing behind him. I began to look for baba as the trio just stared at me
"Where are they" I asked in anticipation and they all kept quiet
"Say something" I said as tears started forming in my eyes

"Enough I can't do it" ya Ammar said hugging me
"You're such a goner" ya Fahad glared at Ammar
"Sister in law leave this two alone, baba you may come in" Ya abdulfatah said with a smile and my father walked into the room , at first I couldn't recognize him he has changed in this couple of days, he was dressed in a blue wagambari (an expensive hausa attire for male), he looked handsome for his age

"Baba" I yelled as I hugged him

"Forgot about Me" came Mama Rabi's voice . Mama Rabi walked in all dressed in a beige colored bubu lace wrapped in a white chiffon veil looking so elegant and beautiful
"How would I" I laugh and hugged her

I literally dragged them towards the diner, momma and Mama Rabi bounded real quick and fast like they've known each other for ages

We've talked , laughed and feasted for the rest of the night before we all retired to our homes leaving the newlyweds couples alone
