A Journey With No End

Anniversary

A/N: How are my revengers doing today? I'm in a really good mood considering revenge won't be on for another like two weeks so yeah.

"Morning. Happy one month-aversary." Emily says cheerfully to a half asleep Daniel.

"Happy anniversary." He kisses her.

"I love you so much."

"I love you more"

"No I love you more."

"Guess what."

"What." Emily replies.

"I took the day off from work so we could be together."

"Yay." She leans her head on his shoulder and looks into his eyes. He looks at his beautiful wife staring at him with love and affection, he can't help himself he kisses her hard an passionate. She wraps her arms around his neck and runs her fingers through his hair.

They roll over, unfortunately they roll off the bed. They both start laughing. "Ow." They say at the same time. They laugh again. Daniel smiles, he does not know what he would do without Emily, she is the only person who has brought light and love into his world.

They both get up and jump back into bed, continuing where they left off.

"Hey Ems, Charlotte got out of the hospital and she wants to come over and give us an anniversary present, is that okay?"

"Of course, I haven't seen her in a few days and I'd love to talk to her."

"Great, I'll call and tell her." He takes a seat on the couch and pulls out his phone.

While Daniel is doing that, Emily gets out her present for Daniel, a poem book filled with poems by the same author as the one that Daniel recited to Emily on their first date. "Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave but not our hearts." Emily has something else for Daniel but she will save it for later.

Emily brings her present over to Daniel and sits on his lap. "For you. You know today isn't just the anniversary of our marriage, a year ago today we went on our first date."

"I remember."He takes the bag and kisses her on the cheek.

He pulls out the book and reads some of the poems aloud. He smiles "I love it." He plants another kiss on her cheek. "Now it's time for your present, wait here."

Emily waits obediently while Daniel brings out his present, it's in a small white box with a pretty red bow. Emily gently unites it and rips the paper open. In the box is a silver charm bracelet with a big heart locket on it. "It's beautiful."

"Open the locket." Emily obeys. In it there are two pictures, the one one the left is the first picture they ever took together, and on the right is their wedding picture.

"I love it." Emily kisses him. She puts the bracelet on and smiles. "Thank you."

Just as they're about to lean in for another kiss there is a knock on the door. Emily gets up to open the door. "Hey Charlotte."

"Hey Ems. Happy anniversary."

"Thanks, come in."

"Hey Charley, I've missed you."

"I've missed you too Danny." They hug. "Here's your present." She hands them a pink box "It's small but I think you'll enjoy it."

Daniel and Emily open the box together, inside there is a picture frame it's of all three of them at the wedding. In the picture they're all laughing.

Emily smiles at Charlotte "Small gifts are always the best gifts" she hugs her "I love it, thank you." Emily places the frame on the mantle.

"Your welcome."

After they share a cup of coffee Charlotte leaves. "Happy anniversary."

"Thanks." They close the door behind her. "It's just us now."

"Mmmm hmmmm."

"It's time for your other present." Emily says to Daniel. She pulls him up the stairs.

When they enter the bedroom Emily says "Wait here while I get the gift." Daniel lays on the bed waiting and wondering what else she could have possibly gotten him. When he hears footsteps coming down the hallway he sits up.

Emily is back but she is not wearing the same clothes, she had changed. What she changed into got Daniel's attention. (If you know what I mean. And sorry super awkwardness.)

They kiss and Emily falls onto him. Emily pulls his shirt off as they kiss intensely.
