Chapter 3

Poppy working at her dream job.

The next morning Poppy got up and got ready, grabbing her clothes and put on her pants, when she felt a pair of arms around her waist and lips on the side of her neck she shivers and blushes.

''B-Branch.''

He chuckled and looked at her through the mirror and smiles. ''I can't help it you look so perfect.''

Poppy blushed and turned around, kissing him on the lips as they stand there holding each other and making out. He pushes her to the wall lifting her thigh to his side. She felt like in a dream as her tongue licked her lips as he opened his mouth giving her room and her hands ran down his bare chest.

After a couple minutes they pull away and Poppy sees Branch ha her bra holding it up teasingly and smirking.

''You want it?'' He asked in an innocent voice.

''Yes! I need it.'' She protested and chased after him.

He climbed on the bed holding them over his head. Poppy grins jumping up on the bed knocking him on the bed as she kisses him teasingly grinding against him. He felt himself getting hard but she pulls away and jumps backwards holding up the bra as she puts it on.

''Ha!'' She shouted.

He looks at her and grins. ''That was a dirty trick but very smart Poppy.'' He said getting up and putting on his clothes getting ready for the day.

''Of course, I have to keep you on your toes.'' She puts on her pink blouse shirt and winks at him blowing a kiss as she walks to the kitchen.

Branch finished getting dressed and went down to see eggs, toast, and juice. ''I have your breakfast hon. 2 poached eggs with avocado toast a bit of Chyanne pepper. But I have to go.'' She said grabbing her bag.

''Thanks for breakfast babe and don't forget I'm picking you up for lunch.'' He ran over grabbing her and pulling her in for a heated kiss, as she kisses back and pulls away. ''Later handsome.''

She leaves as a cab is out and waiting for her. Branch ate his breakfast placing his dishes in the sink and grabbed his bag getting into his car and leaving for his job.

Branch arrived at the building and walked in.

''Morning Branch!'' A worker on the phone greeted.

''Hey Tim.'' He calls.

The blue troll went into the elevator and up to his office, going in and turning on his computer. He smiled at the picture of him and Poppy kissing at a concert and he loved that he could now place pictures of him and Poppy in his office where everyone can see them.

Branch looked at some papers that were in a file and heard a knock at the door and footsteps coming in as he looked up and saw his partner Ryan coming in.

''Morning Ryan.'' Branch smiled.

''Hi Branch.'' He said coming in.

''What brings you in here?'' Asked Branch looking at the troll with a grin.

''Like I need a reason for coming in here.'' Ryan joked.

Branch raised an eyebrow. ''Well neither you have business or just came in here to pull my leg.'' Branch guessed joking back.

''Fair enough, but I want you to be the first to know I'm leaving the job.'' Ryan said.

Branch was shocked and for a moment wondered if he heard correctly. ''Oh, good one you had me for a moment.'' Branch said chuckling.

''No, it's true I'm leaving.'' Ryan said with a serious face.

''What? Why?!'' Asked Branch concerned.

''This job is taking a toll on my relationship with my girl Molly, and she found out her mom has cancer so she's going to live with her mom and I'm going with to be closer to her so I'm not going to be working here.'' Ryan said.

''You can always do it from home if it helps.'' Branch said trying to help keep his buddy here. They didn't have to come into the office if they didn't want to.

''No, besides I already put in my two weeks.'' Ryan said hands in his pocket.

''I wasn't aware things were so bad at home for you.'' Branch said standing up with his arms folded.

''Yeah, long hours and never seeing each other and I know this is short notice.'' Ryan said sitting in the visitor chair.

''I see, well I think me, and Poppy can handle it for now.'' Branch replied sitting down.

He was worried and usually upset but being with Poppy he was a lot calmer then he used to be and was thinking more rationally.

''Well, I'm not completely unprepared. In fact, to save you trouble I'll do all the interviews myself to find the right match then introduce them to you.'' Ryan said wanting to ease the burden.

''I got enough going on. I have meetings all week, and I have a couple cities to do a check up on. How am I going to do all of that while you look for someone?'' Asked Branch.

''Easy I'll hire someone and then teach them what to do. You don't have to worry about a thing.'' Ryan assured Branch.

Meanwhile Poppy was working on putting makeup on female troll named Nova.

''There you go Nova.'' Poppy said to the super fashion diva.

''Thank you, you do so well.'' She said grinning and standing up.

Rose came over to Poppy. ''You're doing a stunning job.''

''Thank you oh and me and Branch have finally decided to make plans for our wedding.'' Poppy said proudly.

''That's great do let me know when and if you guys need help.'' Rose replied to Poppy hugging her.

''Will do.'' Poppy said with a smile hugging back.

She saw it was 10 am. She couldn't wait to see Branch.
