''I was so sure Creek was the right one for Poppy he even came over and asked me if he could marry Poppy. I always told Poppy that the reason I wanted her and Creek together is he would be able to support her and well you were taking care of your grandma.'' Peppy explained feeling bad.

''I admit it was a lot to handle and Poppy made it better and I should have stayed and fought for Poppy which I regret everyday knowing what Creek put her through.'' Branch replied.

''Yes.. Have you heard from Creek lately?'' Asked Peppy.

''No, but after that stunt he pulled with Poppy I did track him and I would have killed him for touching her.'' Branch gripped the couch arm.

''What stopped you?'' Asked Peppy listening.

''Poppy. She followed me and stopped me from going to jail she's right he wanted me to go after him and if I'm jail who would protect her...'' Branch looked down.

''I saw that on the tv and I got to say I've never seen Poppy look that scared before and after hearing Karma Creek's assistant I knew it was true I went to see him and he admitted it cheating on Poppy before they were married it was during his Batchlor party....'' Peppy noted.

Branch nodded and sighed. ''Well I don't intend to do any of that. I love Poppy fully and completely and the whole thing with Mia was in the past me and her are friends and so is Poppy.'' 

''I know and I'm sorry for bringing her up it was a low blow but that being said I did talk to Creek and I struck a deal with him and he won't be bothering you or Poppy and if he does call me.'' Peppy said.

''I will.'' Branch smiled.

''Also if its still opened I would love to be there at the wedding walking Poppy down the aisle.'' Peppy replied.

''She would love that and I accept.'' Branch smiled feeling happy.

''That being said don't say anything to her. I want this to be my gift and surprise to her.'' Peppy smiled.

''Understood.'' Branch smiled.

''Now with that I'm going to go and I want to thank you for making my daughter happy. Looking at these pictures compared to her and Creek she looks brighter and has real happiness.'' Peppy replied.

''You're welcome, see you next Sunday.'' Branch smiles.

''You as well.'' Peppy smiles and left.

It should have made him happy and he was happy but he felt horrible for Poppy and it made him angry at himself after hearing when Creek first cheated on Poppy who was living a miserable life with a cheating and abusing husband, and he was having sex with a girl to heal his heart.
