Rin walks me to a nearby bench where we were far away from the team. We haven't said anything to each other yet. But that was because I was still in shock about his performance from earlier to say anything.

Rin wipes the dust off the bench with his bare hands before we sit down, I noticed he wasn't sitting close to me like earlier. There was a gap between us, I wanted to close the gap.

"Rin, sit closer to me, what are you doing?" I said, patting the spot right beside me. "I probably smell fucking disgusting right now, you don't wanna be near me." He says, wiping the noticeable sweat off his forehead. He then rolls his sleeves up, revealing his toned arm. I tried hard not to stare.

I noticed how thirsty and dehydrated he looked, I reach into my backpack to grab my water bottle. "Are you thirsty? I already drank from my water bottle but I can pour some into your cup-"
He wastes no time, he grabs my water bottle out of my hand and starts drinking from it. He must've been really thirsty.

I watched as he drinks my water, knowing my lips were on it before his. I never shared a water bottle with a guy before, not even with Shidou. I'm usually a hygienic freak, but it didn't seem like I minded if it's with Rin.

After he finished chugging the whole bottle, I let out a giggle. "You should've told me how thirsty you were." He wipes his mouth, "Ah, sorry.. I can clean the water bottle if you like." He says, looking embarrassed as ever. He started using his sleeves to clean the part his lips were just on, I stop him, didn't want him to feel uncomfortable.

"It's fine, I can do it myself." I say, grabbing the water bottle out of his hand. "Seriously Rin, you can sit closer to me. You don't even smell." I was still annoyed at how far away he was from me. I liked how he cared so much, though.

He didn't move or budge, "No, I'm disgusted with myself." I sigh, I sat myself beside him. Our shoulders are touching again. I inhale in his air, not minding the sweat mixed with Cologne smell. "Don't get too close, you might catch it." Rin said, refusing to look at me.

I took that as a opportunity to tease him, "Oh yeah? What if I get closer?" I said, moving even closer to him now. The sides of our butts touching. He grunts, which makes me wanna mess with him even more. "Or, how about I move even CLOSER!" I said, having my face near his jawline. He turns to see where I was located, our faces nearly touching each other.

Okay, I just made it awkward for us.

We remained like that for a few more seconds before I backed away slowly, refusing to show him my face now. My face was probably 10 shades of red and pink mixed together.
Rin taps on my shoulder, completely ignoring what had just happened. "Y/n, I think you should start teaching me now." He says, switching the topic. Thank god, one more second of that and my shade would've looked unmatched.
"Okay, yeah! Pull out the homework, I'll teach you everything."

I spent the next 40 minutes tutoring Rin, he understood things really fast. His reputation as a prodigy was no joke. "Okay, Rin. I think you are ready now." I say, in a serious-joking voice. "Do this question by yourself and see what you get." I point to the BONUS question at the bottom of the page.

He looks at me, confused at first. And then he kept looking at the question and then back to me, back and forth. Was he looking for guidance? "Rin, eyes on the paper, you're getting distracted there." I say, trying to get out of his point of view.
He kept eyeing me though, what was with him and his insane staring problem? "Looking at you makes me more focused, don't move." He said, locking the hell in.

That made me feel a muse, it felt like I was being studied by him. What a strange studying habit.
He drops his pencil, holding up his paper to show me the answer he got. I expected him to get something way off, but my eyes widen to see that he got the correct answer. "Oh.. wow.. your method actually worked." I laugh, feeling flattered. He can be focused just by looking at me?

He ignores my statement, "Are we done now?" I look at the time on my phone, "Pretty much, my dad comes to pick me up in 10 minutes. Do you have any more questions?" I asked.
He looks around for a second, "No, you pretty much covered everything I was confused about."
"You're welcome, I guess I'll get going then." I said, slowly getting up.

Suddenly, an arm pulls me to sit down again. "Don't leave. I wanna talk." Rin said, having complete control over me.

His action makes me surprised. But I obeyed and stayed in my seat. I liked his dominance. "Sure, what do you wanna talk about?"

He scratches his neck. "I'm not good at this conversation stuff, maybe we can ask each other questions?" He said.

"Okay sure, I'll go first.. what's your favourite movie?" I asked, it was cute of him for wanting to talk to me more. He thinks for a second before he answers. "I like horror movies a lot.. maybe 'The Shining'?"

"I hate horror movies, they're so suspenseful for no reason." I said, with a stern look.  He eyebrow raises at me, "No way. What the hell do you watch then?" He asks, looking genuinely concerned. "I like comedy and romance, I guess. I don't really have time to watch movies. I usually have other things planned." I answered.

He scoffs, "Seriously? Maybe I'll make you watch a horror movie with me next time." He said in disappointment. "Yeah, that's not happening." I utter in fear. "It'll happen, I'll make you." His mouth curves into a slight smile. It was the second time I've seen him smile today.

"Ok enough of all the horror talk, you have to ask me a question now." I said, wondering what he's gonna ask me. He hesitates before he speaks, "What's your opinion on everyone on the team?"
I look at him, he was jealous again, wasn't he? I smile at the thought of that. Maybe I should mess with him a bit.

"Oh you know, everyone's extremely good looking. Especially Isagi..." I muttered that last part, curious in his reaction. He looks at me, but before he has the chance to speak, I put my finger to his mouth. "But you're cuter. Which makes you my favourite out of everyone." I said, playing with his feelings now.

He turns the opposite way, not facing me again. The side of his hair hiding the redness on his face.

My phone buzzes, a call from my dad claiming he was here. "Oh, my dad's here. I'll see you tomorrow, Rin!" I grab my bag, walking out of there. He still hasn't said anything, but the tint of red on his face still hasn't gone away either.

I admit, my life has been pretty bland and boring. It was until Rin made today not so boring.
