15:00 on the dot, Jason had walked into into the office. His suit still crisp from the last time he wore it, he walked into his office and sat down. He hadn't replied to Aimee, he wasn't going to reply he knew it was a mistake. Jason just knew that something wasn't right the way she was acting and he decided that Hobbs was right. He was going to stay away.

Bryce came into his office, and picked up the little glass dolphin on his desk. Jason tensed and stared at him until he put the little glass dolphin down. It was the last thing he had from the night he trashed his home. He regretted it everyday.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes."

"Watch David, something isn't right and I think he had something to do with it. I checked the TV guide, Storage Wars wasn't on the tv that Monday night that late. He is lying"

"He is an addict, he could have been staring at a blank tv and he wouldn't know he probably shot up and was sat on the sofa." Jason said not really thinking much of the fact that because the man got the tv show wrong he should be a suspect.

"Something isn't right." He left. Jason looked through his notes on the case file, David stood to gain £334,000 when his parents passed away which is a hefty amount that would help pay off a good amount of his gambling debt. He had just been to the house to ask for money, maybe Morton just wasn't seeing the obvious.

The funeral was fast, the caskets had been brought in to 'You Raise Me Up'. He could admit it was a beautiful ceremony. He watched the children of the Smith's, Rebecca was crying into her husbands arms, he could see the tears. Aimee had her face buried into a tissue, quietly sobbing. The boys had tears rolling down their faces when they got up to speak. All the boys but one David had no emotion on his face when he spoke about his parents, the funeral was just on its way to wrap up when David would stand again.

"Mum and dad were good people and this is not how we wanted to say goodbye. The family asks that you join us for refreshments, the family is asking for twenty minutes to put our parents to rest. There are sandwiches and beverages available."

They all watched the coffin be taken out, the sons, the husbands and others including Bryce carried the bodies out of the church and lays them in the car. Supermarket Flowers plays as everyone else stands.

Jason stepped outside to try and bum a cigarette, he walked right into David.

"I'm sorry for your loss" Jason said wondering why he hadn't gone with the family.

"Thanks."

"Why didn't you go with the others?"

"Ive just buried my fucking parents why are you asking me questions I don't fucking know!" David had snapped for the littlest reason.

"I'm sorry David I didn't mean to offend you, I was simply wondering. Have you got a fag?" Jason asked trying to sooth over the situation.

"Here," David fished out some Sterling Reds and a lighter and handed them over. "Your boss went instead" he continued, Jason lit his fag and took a draw.

"He's a dick"

"You can say that again, I don't get to see my parents get buried because that cocksucker wanted to see. Tosser. Fuck him!" He erupted again punching a wall. Blood already dripping off his knuckles when he lowered his hand.

"I know its rough, but I can't have you destroying stuff mate, lets take a breath okay?" That was a mistake.

Morton was sat in the church waiting room with tissue shoved up his nose. David was cuffed in the back of a squad car shouting this and that swearing to high heavens. Joe had Jason not seen that David was high. He was on something and Morton provoked him.
