The day of the mehndi function arrived, and the palace was buzzing with excitement. Riya woke up early, feeling like a princess in her stunning mehndi outfit. Her mother and aunt helped her get ready, applying intricate henna designs on her hands and feet.
Meanwhile, Ishanvi was busy overseeing the preparations for the mehndi function. She had planned a grand event, with live music, delicious food, and a photo booth. Aayansh, on the other hand, was nowhere to be found.
As the guests began to arrive, Riya made a stunning entrance, her mehndi-adorned hands and feet sparkling in the light. Aryan couldn't take his eyes off her, and the two of them shared a romantic dance to a soulful song.
Ishanvi, resplendent in a yellow suit, mingled with the guests, making sure everyone was having a great time. Aayansh finally appeared, looking dashing in a white kurta, but his expression was dark and brooding.
As the mehndi artist applied the henna paste on Riya's hands, Aayansh suddenly appeared beside her, his eyes fixed on Ishanvi. "You know, Ishanvi, you're really good at this," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Planning events, I mean. Maybe you should do it full-time."
Ishanvi's eyes flashed with anger, but she kept her cool. "Maybe I will, Aayansh. But for now, let's just focus on making this event special for Riya and Aryan."
The mehndi function continued, with the guests enjoying the music, food, and company. But the tension between Aayansh and Ishanvi was palpable, and everyone could sense it.
As the evening drew to a close, Riya and Aryan shared a romantic moment, their hands adorned with intricate mehndi designs. Ishanvi smiled, happy to see her friend so happy. But Aayansh just turned away, his expression dark and foreboding.
As the mehndi function came to a close, Ishanvi began to tidy up the decorations and ensure everything was in order for the next day's events. Aayansh, still brooding from their earlier encounter, decided to leave the palace and take a walk in the gardens.
As Ishanvi was putting away the last of the decorations, she realized she needed to retrieve some additional supplies from the store room. She made her way to the room, but as she entered, she found Aayansh already there, searching for something.
"What are you doing here?" Ishanvi asked, trying to keep her tone neutral.
Aayansh turned to face her, his eyes narrowing. "I could ask you the same thing."
Ishanvi shrugged. "I needed to get some supplies. What about you?"
Aayansh sneered. "I'm looking for something. But I think I've found something even better."
Suddenly, the door to the store room slammed shut, trapping them inside. Ishanvi rushed to the door, but it was stuck.
"Great," she muttered. "Just what I needed. To be stuck in a room with you."
