After four day's

Four days passed in what felt like a blink, yet in those fleeting hours, the distance between Aayansh and Ishanvi only grew wider. Time, in its silent passage, had done nothing to ease the tension that hung thick in the air.

Aayansh found himself lost in his thoughts, unable to shake off the unease that had been clawing at him for the past few days. His mind replayed their last conversation over and over again."You Only want my body". Her words were a mocking sting, a reflection of the hurt she was feeling—and yet, it echoed a pain he couldn’t escape.

He had tried. He had tried so hard to keep his distance, to do what he thought was best for her. But now, after days of silence, he couldn’t stand it anymore.

I have to talk to her, he thought. I need to fix this. I can’t keep pretending like everything is okay when it’s not.

He had been harsh, cold, distant. And even though it hurt him to see the sadness in her eyes, he had told himself it was necessary. But what if it wasn’t? What if the damage was done and it was too late for him to undo the mess he’d created?

With a deep breath, he stood up from the couch, his fingers running through his messy hair. His mind was clouded with doubt, but one thing was clear: he had to talk to her.

Aayansh paced in the living room, his steps heavy, the weight of his decision pressing down on him. He knew that if he approached her now, he would have to face the consequences of his actions. But the silence was unbearable.

She deserves an explanation, he thought, swallowing hard. She deserves to know the truth. I can’t keep running from this.

He walked toward their bedroom, his heart pounding. The door was slightly ajar, and he could see Ishanvi sitting on the bed, her back turned to him. She had her arms crossed, her face expressionless as she stared at the wall.

Aayansh took a step closer, his presence finally catching her attention. But Ishanvi didn’t look at him. She didn’t even acknowledge his presence.

The silence between them was deafening.

Aayansh took another step forward, his voice low and careful. “Ishanvi... can we talk?”

Her shoulders tensed slightly, but she didn’t turn around. The words she had been holding back for days finally bubbled up inside her, but she said nothing.

“Ishanvi,” Aayansh repeated, his voice carrying a hint of desperation now. “Please, just look at me.”

There was a long pause before Ishanvi slowly turned her head. Her eyes met his, but there was no warmth in them. No spark of recognition.

She’s shutting me out, Aayansh realized, his stomach twisting in knots.

Ishanvi’s lips parted, but only one sentence escaped them—“Why are you here, Aayansh?”
