With just two days left for the engagement, the Agnivanshi mansion was a hub of activity. Servants ran about carrying decorations, while family members discussed arrangements for the upcoming wedding functions. Amid all the chaos, Aayansh was sitting in the living room, flipping through a business magazine, trying his best to avoid the whirlwind of preparations.

Maya walked into the room, her gaze immediately landing on her son. "Aayansh," she called out firmly, pulling him out of his focus.

He looked up, raising an eyebrow. "Haan, Maa?"

She sat down beside him, her voice laced with authority. "Tumhein aur Ishanvi ko engagement ke liye kuch shopping karni hai. Tumhare kapde, jewelry, aur baaki cheezein finalize karni zaruri hain."

Aayansh frowned, placing the magazine down. "Maa, do din baad engagement hai. Abhi yeh sab shopping karne ka time kaun banata hai? Jo ready ho raha hai, woh dekh lo."

Maya shot him a sharp look. "Aayansh, engagement aur shaadi sirf ek formal event nahi hai. Yeh tumhara aur Ishanvi ka din hai. Tumhe jaana hi padega."

Before he could argue further, his cousins, Ahaan and Ayesha, entered the room, overhearing the conversation. Ahaan smirked, sensing an opportunity to tease his elder cousin.

"Shopping ki baat ho rahi hai?" Ahaan asked casually, plopping down on the sofa.

"Aur bhai isse mana kar raha hai, right?" Ayesha added, rolling her eyes dramatically. "Typical."

Aayansh groaned. "Tum log kyun hamesha beech mein tapak jaate ho?"

Ahaan ignored him, grinning at Maya. "Chachi, hum bhi chalenge. Engagement shopping boring lagegi, lekin hum le jayenge toh thoda maza aa jayega."

Ayesha nodded enthusiastically. "Waise bhi, bhai ka taste kabhi samajh nahi aata. Hum help karenge."

Maya smirked. "Bilkul. Tum dono Aayansh ke saath jaa rahe ho. Aayansh, ab tumhe koi excuse nahi chalega."

Aayansh looked between his mother and cousins, realizing he was outnumbered. "Theek hai," he said with a sigh, grabbing his car keys. "Par ek baat yaad rakhna-main zyada der kisi mall mein timepass nahi karunga."

Ahaan chuckled, leaning toward Ayesha. "Bhai ka patience already khatam lagta hai."

Maya handed Aayansh a list of things to finalize. "Yeh sab tumhe dekhna hai. Aur haan, Ishanvi ka taste ka bhi dhyan rakhna."

Aayansh looked at the list, muttering under his breath, "Ishanvi ka taste? Matlab mujhe apni pasand chod kar uski pasand ke kapde lene hain?"

Ayesha overheard and laughed. "Welcome to the world of shaadi, bhai!"

As the trio walked out, Maya called after them, "Aur haan, time pe ghar wapas aana. Tumhe kal pandit ji ke saath milkar function ki timings confirm karni hain!"
