The dim glow of the haveli's kitchen offered Ishanvi a rare moment of solace. After the loud sangeet and endless teasing from her family, she needed some quiet. Stepping inside, she immediately noticed the box of wheat flour on the topmost shelf, its lid slightly ajar.

"Yeh log sab kuch khula kyun chhod dete hain?" she muttered to herself, dragging a stool closer to the shelf. Climbing up carefully, she reached for the box. But just as she adjusted the lid, her elbow nudged it, causing a small avalanche of flour to rain down on her.

[Why do they leave everything open?"]

"Ugh!"she exclaimed, stepping back with a cough. Flour covered her hair and shoulders, leaving her looking like she'd walked through a cloud.

Before she could fully process her predicament, a low chuckle broke the silence. Turning around sharply, she spotted Aayansh leaning against the doorway, his arms crossed and his lips curled into a smug smile.

"What's so funny?" she snapped, glaring at him. "Kya hai? Has kyu rahe ho aap? Koi joke chal raha hai kya?"

["What is it? Why are you laughing? Is there some joke going on?"]

Aayansh's smirk deepened. "Ab kya main has bhi nahi sakta? Uski bhi permission tumse leni hogi kya?"

["Now can't I even laugh? Do I have to take your permission for that too?"]

She rolled her eyes, her irritation flaring. "Hasna hai na? Haso, khoob haso!"

["Do you want to laugh? Laugh, laugh a lot"]

And before he could respond, she grabbed a handful of flour from the spilled pile and flung it at him. The powder puffed into the air, landing squarely on his chest.

Aayansh's expression shifted from surprise to playful challenge. "Tumne yeh galti kar di, Ishanvi."

["You made this mistake Ishanvi"]

She crossed her arms, daring him. "Aur karungi. Ab kya kar loge?"

["I will do it more, what will you do now?"]

Without a word, Aayansh grabbed the entire box of flour and tipped it slightly, sending another cloud of flour cascading over her head.

"Aayansh!" she shrieked, trying to shield herself. "Aapka problem kya hai?"

"My problem? Tumne shuru kiya," he retorted with a grin.

Her eyes narrowed mischievously as she grabbed the box from his hands. "Toh ab main khatam karti hoon!"
