The commotion finally settled as the family gathered back in the main hall. Despite the engagement rituals being slightly delayed, everyone was in good spirits, laughing about the unexpected antics of Ishanvi and Ahaan.

"I think all this running around has made everyone hungry," their grandfather declared, clapping his hands. "Let's eat first. The engagement can wait."

"Eat first?" Ayesha asked, laughing. "Grandpa, this is supposed to be a sacred ritual!"

"Yes, and it's even more sacred when everyone's stomach is full," he replied, his eyes twinkling.

The family erupted in laughter, and even the priest, amused by the family's lively nature, nodded his agreement. "It is true. Food strengthens the spirit."

Aayansh shook his head in disbelief, muttering to himself, "Only in this family can a sacred ceremony pause for biryani."

Ishanvi, who had been attempting to keep a low profile after the buffet table incident, grinned sheepishly. "I mean, Grandpa has a point."

"You don't get to speak," Aayansh quipped, casting her a look.

Ignoring him, she followed the others to the dining area, where a grand spread awaited. Plates clinked, laughter bubbled, and the aroma of delicious dishes filled the air as everyone dug in with gusto.

While the others were enjoying their meals, Aayansh sat in a corner, quietly picking at his plate, his face stoic but clearly displeased with the whole situation. Ishanvi noticed him from across the table and couldn't help but shake her head.

Shaadi meri bhi ho rahi hai, lekin yeh toh jaise koi jail ja raha ho, she thought.

Her eyes landed on the dessert table, and an idea sparked in her mind. Aayansh Agniwanshi, aapko thoda maza chakhana padega, she thought, a mischievous smile spreading across her face.

She casually grabbed a plate of gulab jamuns and crushed a green chili into one of them, making sure to mix it thoroughly. Walking over to him, she placed the plate in front of him with her sweetest smile.

"Aapke liye, Mr. Agniwanshi," she said innocently. "Shaadi ki tension kam karne ke liye kuch meetha kha lijiye."

["For you Mr. Agnimanshi." "Eat something sweet to reduce the tension of the wedding"]

He looked up at her, his expression suspicious but unreadable. "Aapko lagta hai mujhe aapki mithaas ki zarurat hai?"

["You think I need your sweetness"]

[Chill guy's meethai ki baat ho rahi hai kuch aur mat samajh lena]

"Bas ek baar koshish karke toh dekhiye," she replied sweetly, suppressing a grin.

["Just try it once and see."]

Aayansh stared at her for a moment before picking up the gulab jamun. Without a word, he popped it into his mouth and chewed slowly.
