"Dude her mood swings are intense as hell. Just yesterday she threw a cup at my head!" I was walking patrol with Chargebolt, Cellophane, and Dyna-Might, I don't usually talk about my wife's and my "problems," but if I can't talk to my wife about my problems, I have to talk to my friends. "Thank god I'm gay." Dyna-Might and Chargebolt said in unison, then began crippling over in a fit of laughter. "Don't mind them, dude, they're just childish... but about Y/N, I'm 90 percent sure she doesn't want to feel... angered or sad, she can't really help it." I nodded in agreement, Sero has 3 kids- he knows what he's talking about.

3 hours later
I sat in my office chair half asleep at "HQ". I'm not usually tired after patrol but today was extremely exhausting, I'd really rather be home relaxing, but we're short on Heroes this week.
I was in the process of nodding off, when my phone vibrated in the pocket of my hero costume. Grabbing my phone I took a quick glance at the caller ID although I knew exactly who it was. The picture of my wife on our wedding day icing on the tip of her nose and her wide smile plastered across her face, her eyes glowing with joy- my favorite picture.
"Eijirou."
Shit I'm in trouble
"Yes Ma'am" I used one of her favorite nicknames to my advantage, I don't use it much no anymore, but when I do- it makes her turn bright red.
A small sniffle was all I got in response. The smallest of noises mad my heart drop.
"What?! Are you okay?!" My heart began to pound against my chest in a concerning rhythm.
"I miss you, come home."
Damn she scared me.
"Damn Y/N you scared me. Thought it was something important.
Important... what did I use that word?
"Oh well... if that's how you feel... then so be it."

It's not as if her feeling aren't important, because they are! It's just that when someone calls crying, it's most likely because of something Serious.
I stood from my chair, not sure what it is but I'm extremely determined to get home. She's been a lot more sensitive lately and I haven't been as supportive as I should be.
