TWO DAYS LATER, when Caroline woke up in Harry's arms, she heard doors slamming. She sat up and peeled back the curtains in Harry's room, finding the Dursley's already packing their car, ready to leave. "They're packing." Caroline said, Harry's arms still around her waist.

"They're leaving later. Come back. I've missed you since you ignored me for months." Harry mumbled with his eyes closed, pulling his girlfriend back into him.

Caroline rolled her eyes and laid back down, her head resting on Harry's arm. "You're such a brat. A blind brat." Caroline said, kissing his lips as she wrapped her arms around him, tugging herself close.

Harry's head dipped down, attaching to her neck. "Yeah, but you love me." he said, tilting her head back, moving on top of her.

"What are you doing?" Caroline asked with a smile, not at all bothered by what her boyfriend was doing.

"You woke me up. This is what you get." Harry answered, his hand rolling onto Caroline's hip. Caroline's eyes fell shut as she leant into Harry's advances.

Eventually, she pushed him off, and they laid in his bed, kissing, talking, then kissing again. These days, they couldn't keep their hands off of each other, not that there were complaints from either party. Eventually, hours later, neck red, Caroline got up, ignoring Harry whining at her to come back. She shook her braids out of the loose ponytail they were in, changing in the corner of the room. She heard doors slamming upstairs. "They're on the move." Caroline warned in a teasing voice, pulling on a different one of Harry's jumpers, satisfied when it smelled like him.

Harry rolled his eyes and got up, moving Penny and Marie as he made his way to his dresser. When they went downstairs, the Dursley's were almost completely packed, Vernon and Dudley in the yard. The sky was dark now. The sun didn't shine as often, and the clouds were thick. Caroline looked for the stars every night while she was away from Harry, wondering if he was searching for them too. He was, but she didn't know that.

They went downstairs, finding Petunia standing in the empty living room, all of the furniture gone. "I have lived in this house for twenty years. And now, in a single night, I'm expected to leave." the woman said tearfully.

"They'll torture you. If they think for a moment you know where we're going, they'll stop at nothing. They killed her dad and her brother." Harry said, gesturing to Caroline as he held her hand tightly, knowing he hit a sore spot. Not a moment went by that Caroline didn't miss her father and little brother.

Petunia turned her head to look at them. "Do you think I don't know what they're capable of? You didn't just lose a mother that night in Godric's Hollow, you know. I lost a sister." the car engine started up, and Petunia left the house without another word.

"Funny way of showing her grief." Caroline muttered once the woman had left. She hardly knew the Dursleys, and she hated them purely because of what they did to Harry. He shouldn't have grown up like that. He should've had a childhood like she did, and he didn't, because of them.

Harry didn't say anything, and they went outside to where the Dursley's car was packed and waiting. "This isn't just goodbye, boy, is it? This is farewell." Vernon said, pointing at Harry.

Harry just nodded, and Vernon held up his hands, turning his back on his nephew. "I don't understand. Isn't he coming with us?" Dudley asked suddenly.
