It was the last night before Christina left for Hogwarts. Excitement and
anticipation haunted her, and she could hardly sit still. Victor and Elizabeth helped her pack her suitcase, making sure everything she needed was in its place.

Elizabeth smiled tenderly as she carefully put away the robes, books, and other supplies while Victor made sure Christina's wand was in a safe place.

– Are you sure you haven’t forgotten anything? – Victor asked, looking at the shopping list.

– Yes, dad, I checked everything, – Christina answered, a little nervous.

Soon all the preparations were completed, and Christina sat on her bed, clasping her knees with her hands. Thoughts about Hogwarts, about new friends and adventures filled her head. She remembered today's meeting with James and his friends, which calmed her down a little. However, despite all the expectations, leaving the house was not so easy.

Elizabeth walked up to Christina and sat next to her, hugging her.

– Tomorrow a new chapter in your life will begin, – she said softly. – You will meet new friends and learn a lot. We are very proud of you.

Christina smiled and hugged her mother tightly. She knew that her parents would always support her, despite the distance.

Victor joined them and the whole family spent a few minutes in silence, enjoying their last moments together. Then they decided to go down to the living room to spend the rest of the time having a family dinner.

Christina’s favorite dishes and homemade bread were already on the table. The smells that filled the kitchen reminded her of the warmth and comfort of home.

– We’ve prepared some food for you on the road, – Victor said, pointing to a small package. – If you suddenly get hungry.

The dinner took place in a pleasant atmosphere. They recalled funny stories from the past, discussed plans for the future and laughed. At that moment, Christina realized how much she would miss home and her family.

After dinner, they returned to the living room, where Victor took out an old family book. He opened it and began to read old Ukrainian fairy tales, which Christina loved to listen to as a child. Her father's voice, warm and confident, calmed her, and Christina felt that everything would be fine.

Late in the evening, when the moon had already risen high, Christina lay down in her bed. Elizabeth walked up to her, straightened the blanket and gently kissed her forehead.

– Good night, darling. Tomorrow will be a great day, – she whispered.

– Good night, mom, – Christina answered, feeling how sleep was gradually taking over her.

The last thoughts before going to bed were about tomorrow, about Hogwarts and new adventures. She knew that everything would be different, but she was ready for these changes. With these thoughts, Christina fell into a deep sleep, full of dreams of magic and new friends.

Morning came earlier than Christina expected. Excitement and anticipation of a new stage in her life filled her heart with joy and slight anxiety. Having gathered, she went downstairs, where her parents were already waiting for her with breakfast. There was a lot of trouble today, but there was a special atmosphere in the air.

– Are you ready? – Victor asked, picking up his daughter’s suitcase.

– Yes, dad, –Christina answered, trying to contain her excitement.
