The kiss started gentle, slow, thoughtful. His lips and tongue exploring her lips until she granted entrance. "Lots of first and second dates, friend zoning. And no, never with Matt." He could see the tips of her ears and back of her neck exposed by her long braid turn a deep red. Bucky got up and moved. This was it, she thought, she was too pitiful for him. Melinoe felt him move again and her heart sank deeply, so deep, her bones hurt. Bucky picked up her hand off her leg ever so gently and ran his fingers across it. Kissing it, he pulled her up and held her against him.

"That is something I'd like to remedy then, but only if you want to as well." The warmth radiated out of his body and if this was all she could ever have, she'd be happy.

"I don't know what to say to that."

"If you don't want to, this ends here. But if you want to and you kiss me now, I'll know what your answer is." Tentatively, she reached up and threaded her fingers through his hair and tip toed up to kiss him as soft and as pure as he did before. Breaking her kiss, they went back to his bike and rode to his house. When they arrived, Melinoe looked around. While she was here before, she really didn't get to see everything. Bucky laughed.

"Before, why didn't you just ...." Bucky caught a strand of her hair and watched it slide between his fingers.

"You needed rest and I didn't want to leave you to wake up alone and not know where you were. It wouldn't have been right." Pulling her closer against him, "Trust me, it was very hard." Melinoe could feel how hard he was becoming in his jeans, she was sure he was in pain.

"What do you want to do?" She asked biting her bottom lip and looked up through her lashes.

"For someone who doesn't do this often, you do know the right buttons to push."
