Voices, voices, voices!

"Baby- come back..." A female voice called out, crying.

He recognized that voice. Where did it come from? Everything was black. He couldn't see. He couldn't feel. But he heard-

"You need to let her go." a male voice ordered.

That was his last thought. Was that his voice? Was it Ben's? Who are these people?

"Son, you need to become stronger!"

That was his father...Ben. Grew up with it enough to know what an order sounds like. But Ben never cared about him...he-

"Come back to me-" another female voice he recognized. It wasn't the same one as before....this one felt more real, "Please..."

There was a blue blur in front of him in the shape of a person, "Mason..." it was the first voice he heard again. He knew that voice, how did he know it? It couldn't be...

"Mom..."

"No! You need to become stronger! Leave your mother behind!"

The blue glowing figure disappeared at that harsh voice. His father's voice. He wanted to see his mom again. She was right there!

"No! Mom..."

"Find you're way back home..." it echoed. Over and over. How did he get back home?

"Mason, please don't leave me..." he heard that sweet voice again...the real one. He needed to follow that voice. He needed to go back home, "I need you..."

He didn't know, or remember who this voice was, but he remembered how he felt. It was important. His life. It was his everything. Whoever this person was- wanted him. Needed him.

"Come back home-"

Home....home....back home.

Mason jolted up, making everyone back up. Breathing heavily, hand on his chest, and eyes wide open. Where was he? He looked to the side of him and only one person didn't move from his side.

"Lea..."

"You're okay-" Lea cried happy tears. He had been unconscious for so long, she was worried he would never wake up.

"Where-"

"We are back home." she reassured still crying, "We gave you the liquid to save you- we could only hope it was enough."

They had found it near Ben- as if he was holding onto it. He had it all along. Whoever took it from Jessie delivered it to him- maybe it was the universe on their side.

Mason still felt out of breath, heart pounding, but it was slowly starting to steady as he took in his surroundings.

"It was-" Mason looked at his hands...last he recalled they were glowing, "-enough. Yeah..."

Mason saw Ron and Jessie were in the room as well- he was on a bed in a room lit only by a window. He didn't recognize this place. He slightly sat up feeling soreness everywhere.

"No hospital huh?" Mason leaned back on the headboard.

"It wouldn't have made a difference with your powers. " And besides...you weren't stabbed or shot-"

The sirens weren't the cops...wasn't an ambulance. Who was it? Mason suddenly remembered, what happened to Lea and scanned her whole body for marks or signs of injury.

"Are you-?"

"I'm fine-" she placed a hand on him, "You saved me..."

"We're okay-" Mason laughed in disbelief, "oh my god...we're alive."
