Nayeon gives him a gentle look. This guy appears so innocent, so handsome, so nice, so gentle—he really does fit her ideal of a guy.
"Are you alright, miss?"
Hearing his voice, she flinched. She looked at him and realized she had been staring.
"I....ahhh yeah, I....yeah" is all that comes out of her lips. She was enthralled with the guy's appearance.
"Are you sure?" he said.
"Yeahh," she smiled, showing her signature smile.
"I sincerely apologize for the incident. We promise not to let it happen again." he apologized and bowed.
"No, no, no, it's okay," she said,waving my hands to show him that he didn't need to apologize and bow.
"Then I'll be heading out now; I still have a lot to do," he said, giving her a smile and standing up.
"Wait!" Nayeon said when he was about to walk out. Jin stopped and looked at her confusedly.
"I have a job to offer you."
"What is it?" he asks.
Nayeon took a deep breath and fidgeted with her fingers. She was silent for a second, then said
"Can you be my Fake Boyfriend?" she said.
She really doesn't want to admit it, but she is sick of her mother setting her up on dates, and all the men she sets her up with are jerks and condescending. She was left with no choice but to believe that this was the only way she could stop her.
She looks at Jin, who is quiet.
"I'm not that wealthy, but I'll try to double your income" she said.
She silently hoped that this guy would agree because her mother would continue to pressure her if he didn't.
"Deal"
She heard him say it, and she smiled brightly.
"You'll just act like you're my lover till my mother falls for it. You just need to cooperate with me; I'll take care of everything. Simple as that," I said, smiling.
"Sure," he said and smiled.
The way he smiled made Nayeon melt. He has a very beautiful smile.
