Five's family members had a lot of questions to ask him about 'how he got back' and 'what did he see'.

When he answered all the questions, he just ate his pb&m sandwich. "Hey, did any of you see Rio?" Klaus asked suddenly.

"Yeah, he seemed confused," Five said, looking at everyone. "It's nothing" Diego scoffed. The time traveler couldn't help himself, but felt like something was very wrong.

He quickly got up from the table, walking up the stairs and into Rio's room. He wasn't there, so he went into his room. And there he was.

"Rio?" Five said. No response. "Hey, Rio," he said again. That was when he noticed the small bag with pills on the floor and the half-drank bottle on the nightstand.

"Shit, shit" Five started to panic, taking the other's shoulders, shaking with that boy. "Rio, wake up!" he was trying so hard to wake him up, didn't want to lose him.

The other suddenly quickly gasped, holding Five's arms. "Oh, Rio. You're okay" Five quickly hugged the boy. "Why do you keep doing this" Rio mumbled.

"What were you thinking? Mixing pills and alcohol. Do you want to kill yourself?" Five asked when the other boy got up and took the pills into his pocket and also the alcohol into his right hand.

"Rio, answer!" Five said loudly and walked out of the room, grabbing his left hand. "Let me go, fake Five" Rio pulled his hand away, laying on the floor in the hallway, putting one more pill into his mouth.

Before he could down it with the booze, Five ran to him and took the bottle. "No, no. I'm asking you. Were you trying to kill yourself?" Five asked, squatting down, looking into the other's eyes.

"A-and what if I was? Hm? You wouldn't even f-fucking care, you left and now? Now you're just my h-hallucination. Yeah, I lost my mind. W-what you gonna do about it?" Rio stated, stumbling over his words a bit.

"I am not a hallucination. I am real" Five smiled. "Then why do you look like you're fourteen again? Hmm?" he poked him in the chest with his index finger.

"Because I got the equation wrong" the boy answered, sitting next to the brunette. "So you're a real Five?" Rio asked, not believing him. "Yes," Five nodded, rubbing the other's knee.

Rio suddenly switched. He started to cry from happiness, smiling at the other. "I missed you" Five smiled. The boy he was sitting in front of, slapped his face, making his face turn to the other side.

"I missed you too stupid, don't ever leave me again, understand?" Rio said, his eyes watering. "I won't. I promise. Just don't slap me again, River" the boy in front of him said as Rio smiled at the nickname he got when they were ten.

"I will, you deserve it," Rio said, frowning a bit. "Why? Don't you think I tried to get back to you? I tried everything, nothing worked" Five said, sitting next to Rio.

"Cause you hurt me. You left me alone" Rio sighed. "What do you mean, alone? You had the others" Five asked. "Others?" Rio chuckled in sarcasm as Five looked at him.

"They don't like me. You and Ben were the only ones who talked to me. When you both left... I-" Rio stopped. He never talked about what was he going through.

"You what?" the raven asked. "I, uhm... I became depressed. I stopped going on missions, stopped hanging out with anyone and I was just mad. They tried to help me, but I was an idiot to them" Rio smiled sadly.

"I- I'm really sorry" Five whispered. "But are you okay now?" he asked. He hated to hear that the blue-eyed boy had gone through that.

"What do you think? Do you think I'll magically feel great when you come back? After all these years?" Rio said, looking away. He was mad at Five, but he could never hate that idiot.

"Sorry, I guess I just... I'm just sorry. I know I shouldn't have left. It was stupid of me" Five admitted, trying to have a look into the other's eyes.

The water boy had tears in his eyes. He felt so broken. Even tho the person who caused it was sitting right next to him. "I felt like my life was a misery. Like it didn't make sense anymore. I had nothing, no one to live for" Rio said quietly.

"Now you have me" Five just smiled, trying to make the boy do the same, but failed. "Yeah, I don't- I don't know. I still feel like a piece of shit" the brunette admitted.

"No. Don't speak about yourself like that" Five said as Rio got up. "Where you-" "I need some space," Rio said and went into his room, shutting the door in front of Five's face. "Okay, get some rest" Five sighed and teleported away.

Rio was just sitting on the floor, crying. He couldn't process what happened. He was overwhelmed by everything.

He just wanted to go back in time and never let Five leave. Then it wouldn't have to hurt so much.

He thought that seeing Five again would make him feel better. It didn't. He still felt like a total mistake, an idiot and a waste of oxygen.

So he took out a lighter, not only to light a cigarette.

His skin burned as he closed his eyes, enjoying that pain he liked so much.
