October 1st, 1989, 12th hour
On October first, 1989, forty-four children were born, though technically only forty-three, as one child did not survive, passing away at birth.
The twins are the children of their mother, Mayumi Estrella. She was a twenty-year-old girl in Spain.
She had a very happy life, even though she never found her real love. She had many great friends and people loved her for being so bright and kind.
Mayumi's family was the best family she could ever have. She was not some boring girl. Her mother was from Japan, and her father was from Spain.
The day was like any other day for Mayumi. She went to school in the morning, happily. Her dream was to become a doctor and she loved learning new things.
When she was taking an exam in her biology class, she suddenly felt something in her body, in her belly, to be exact.
An overwhelming feeling came over the poor girl and the second she looked down, her belly was growing bigger and bigger, she was screaming in pain.
Everyone around her started to panic. Her teacher, classmates, everyone. And she soon started to give birth. Two boys were born that day.
Unfortunately, Mayumi passed away a few minutes after the birth. It was tragic. One born boy was crying his blue eyes out, but the other wasn't even breathing.
When Mayumi's parents found out, they were shocked and in denial. They couldn't believe their daughter had died giving birth. She was perfectly fine a few hours before that.
That was why, when Sir Reginald Hargreeves wanted to exchange the child that survived for some money, they took the payment, not asking any questions.
The boy he bought was later his eighth child. He managed to buy seven other children from around the world.
After a few years of training, seven children were able to use their powers. Fight the bad guys and criminals, helping people in need.
The weird thing was, that Reginald didn't name his children. He gave them numbers instead of names.
He never really cared for them. Never wanted to be their father. That was why there was a robotic mother, Grace, to give them the love and care they needed.
Grace helped them through and with everything. She was a real mother to them. On the other hand, Reginald was distant from them. They barely knew him.
