As Rio was just sitting on his couch, not wanting to do anything and being mad at the world, his phone rang.

No one ever called him, so it was weird for him to hear the ringtone. After a while, he picked it up. "Yes?" he said tiredly. "What?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. "Okay, thanks" he put his phone down, trying to process the information he just received.

'He's dead. My father, he really died.' he thought, not believing it.

He was not sad, or mad. He didn't feel anything, since the man took his childhood away.

And he had to go to the stupid house, reliving every memory again, seeing his adopted siblings. He loved them, a lot.

But... he hasn't spoken to anyone in the past few months, other than some calling scammers, just telling them to fuck off.

They were supposed to meet at their old house in two hours, so Rio had some work to do.

Getting up from the couch, he was thinking about his family. They never called him. No wonder they didn't miss him.

Since Five left and Ben died, he was a total mess, laying in his bed whenever he could, when someone asked him if he was okay he replied with 'fuck off' or 'leave me alone'.

No one truly knew how much he was hurting. He slowly isolated himself from everyone and left as soon as he could. He couldn't stand to walk past the two rooms every day.

Rio walked to the bathroom, undressed himself, and hopped into the shower. He hated his body, his scars. He hated himself.

The thought of leaving as his two brothers was pleasant, but he just never got the courage to do it. He tried to, but he made it out. Twice.

Rio noticed he hadn't changed much since Five left. Or more like his body hasn't changed. He still looked the same.

Maybe it was the depression, or he just didn't notice the change.

The boy stepped out of the shower, not even looking at himself in the mirror. With a towel around his waist, he walked to his bedroom which was just next door.

He sat on the bed, thinking. Again. He just couldn't bring himself to forget him.

-flashback-

"Hey, psst, Five" the raven heard from behind the opened door. "Hmm? Rio?" he asked, opening his eyes. It was the middle of the night and everyone was asleep. Well, except for these two.

"I- can I sleep here?" Rio said, looking at the floor. "Come here" Five patted a place right next to him.

Rio smiled happily, closing the door, as Five shifted in his bed, making space for the other. "Thanks" Rio mumbled. "Another one?" Five asked, looking at the boy next to him.

"Yeah..." Rio admitted he had another nightmare. He's been having them since their last mission, where he got severely injured.

Only Five knew. He didn't want to tell anyone, but when Five heard crying from the room next to him, he just couldn't ignore it.

Five looked at the brunette, moonlight shining into his blue eyes, full of tears. He put his arms around the other, giving him a warm hug.

Rio smiled and hugged him back. "Let's sleep, okay?" Five said into the hug, pulling the other down to lie.

"Okay," Rio whispered and just enjoyed the warm embrace of his friend.

-end of flashback-

After a while of being in the same position, Rio realized that he had to put his clothes on and get going soon.

He got up slowly, and walked to his closet, kicking some bottles on the way. He knew his room was a mess. Well, that happens when you're depressed, and not motivated to do anything.

'Don't care what I wear', was what he said to himself when picking up the first thing he saw. It was a black T-shirt, black hoodie and some skinny black ripped jeans.

Dressing himself up, he glanced at the clock, realizing he was a bit late. Rio mumbled some nonsense under his breath, not even trying to be there on time.

After spraying some perfume on himself, taking on his black Converse shoes, and taking his wallet, phone, keys, and cigarettes, he walked out of his apartment.

He didn't smoke that often, just when he was stressed. And he figured he'd be stressed a lot.
