Winter's POV
Wow. I cannot believe this is happening. Am I dreaming? Is this real? "My love? Are you ready?" I hear Autumn say, reaching her hand out to me, her voice pulling me out of my thoughts. "Yes, my sweet. More than ready." I say as I take her hand and walk down the aisle with her to stand in front of the officiant at the front of the room. She looks absolutely stunning; she is wearing a beautiful black dress with lace details and long lace sleeves, hugging her figure tightly, showing off her beautiful body. I don't know how, but she gets more and more beautiful every time I look at her. "Are you ready to begin?" The officiant looks to me and asks. "I've never been more ready in my life." I respond.
The next few moments are a blur, I don't even remember what was said if I'm being honest. All I remember is hearing my sweet girl profess her love and vows to me. I will always remember and cherish those sweet words.
Winter, my love, from the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you were to be mine. I couldn't explain it at the time, the feeling that I had, the way every fiber of my being craved you when it had never even had you. But I know now that it is love. Unconditional and never ending love. I never thought I would get the chance to find love, or be loved, in my lifetime. But here we are today, and I am proven wrong. I love you, Winter, with all of my heart and soul, forever and more. I will protect you and cherish you always, care for you and love you in all the ways I can. My sweet, I am yours, forever.
After she is finished, I take a moment to wipe my tears and clear my throat before beginning my vows to my love.
Autumn Knight. My sweet. My love. My darling. My girl. Oh the love I have for you. How easy it is to love you. You are the most amazing woman on the planet, and I am lucky enough to get to call you mine. I fell in love with you the moment our eyes met across the room that Halloween night, and I've been falling more in love every day since. I don't believe there will be a day I don't fall more in love with you. I promise to love you every day of forever, and more. I promise to keep you safe, happy, warm, healthy and provide all I can for you. But most importantly, my love, I promise to be yours, forever and more.
I took Autumn's hands in mine, and we placed our rings on each other's fingers. We said "I do" and we kissed for the first time as husband and wife. Husband and wife! It sounds absolutely insane saying those words. But, it's true. Autumn Knight is now my wife. And I will proudly take her name. I am now Winter Fortune-Knight.
I feel bad, lying to our friends and family, telling them that we are ill just so we can sneak off and get married privately. But, I can also say, it was the most perfect wedding and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. We are now headed to our home, where we will happily spend the next 36 hours as husband and wife before telling everyone the real reason we were gone. I couldn't wait to get home. There were so many things I wanted to do to my new wife.
